  1. I still need to have a go in a roadster! Welcome, there's a good bunch of people on here
  2. I couldn't be a Porsche driver I don't think
  3. Yeah they're both good options. I would like something newer than my 2008 350z however.
  4. Yeah, I'd love a black edition 370z ideally. Love everything about them. Hopefully can sell my 350 sooner than later and stay in the Z scene. I think they offer a lot of car for the money compared to other manufacturers and still have a lot of prestige around them
  5. Ah I see. The nismo is a lot of money isn't it. Tricky...
  6. Wow thank you. Some great info there. I'll study these and have a look into routes etc.
  7. Hi guys. I'm looking into selling my 350z (313 GT) and wondering where to go next? Any guys on here who have gone from the 350z to the 370z? Any massive differences? Worth staying in the Z family or moving on to something else? I still want a quick, head turning car. Not really bothered about the mpgs etc. But spending a max of £18-20k. Thanks in advance.
  8. Yeah I saw that, £5000 isn't it?! I won't be doing that, would put a very bad taste on a good road trip away haha
  9. Thanks guys. I've had a look on some motorbike sites and found some nice routes just off the autobahn that we can hit on the way down.
  10. Oh yeah, forgot about them! Any ideas how much they are?
  11. Thanks Looking forward to being reunited with the Autobahn!! I don't really want to do the nurburgring as I don't want to get track insurance etc and generally I've always said I won't track the 350z like I did the Focus ST beforehand.
  12. Hi all. Me and 3 other cars are going on a road trip to Germany in March. We are stopping in Cologne and Stuttgart for 2 nights each. I know the Route 500 is near Stuttgart, so will be heading for that at some point. Does anyone know of any good driving roads between Dunkirk - Cologne or Cologne - Stuttgart. Obviously the Nurburgring is there but we're not interested in hitting that at the moment. Thanks guys. I look forward to the replies.
  13. I'm pretty sure it's better than some horror stories I've heard. Fingers crossed.
  14. When would your pedal go 'floppy'? All the time, hard driving etc? Just out of curiosity
  15. Yeah I've had a quote for the clutch fitted for £950 but that's not including flywheel which are ridiculously priced! Road trip planned for mid march.... Sod's law will go then!
  16. I've just heard a lot of people with clutch issues around the 50k mark, probably me being paranoid haha
  17. Ah ok, it seems ok for now then. Must be a sign to get a 370
  18. 48k miles, so getting close to the dreaded 50k mark
  19. Hi all Quick question regarding my clutch. The pedal has recently been a lot higher than before, but no clutch slip or judder whatsoever. I've done the low speed/high gear tests etc and it is fine. Has anyone with a HR had a similar issue before their clutch failing/slipping? Is it something to worry about as I am aware a new clutch/flywheel etc is pricey on a HR 350z. Thanks in advance
  20. I think it's a good idea and can see where you're coming from. Yes it's 'chavvy', yes it's over the top, but they won't be on all the time and it's a nice modification if done well. I'd like to see what advice comes from this thread as it would have a lot of 'shock factor'. For £17 it's worth a go. After all, cable ties are easily removed and the car is returned to normal.
  21. Hi again, my friend is looking at a 350z with 70k on the clock. I've noticed a few for sale at this mileage, is there a reason why people are selling up at this mileage? Does something usually break/need replacing at 70k? Cheers in advance
  22. Ok will try that. If not, maybe it's an excuse for uprated discs
  23. Oh ok, I never realised that. So you think it's worth re-bedding/heavy braking next time I drive it?
  24. I bedded them in with 10 x low speed (20 to 5mph) and 10 x 60 to 5 mph stops. This was a few months ago now and they've only just started doing this.
