We used to feed the badgers in our garden every night, but haven't seen any for a few years.
We used to do that as well as foxes. It was pretty cool.

Have to say though, that's the first time I've ever been in a position to properly overtake a police car (as opposed to changing lane on a DC or MW) and I always wondered if I'd have the balls to do it!
Never stops me, I usually sit on 80 on the speedo which is maybe 75? Never going to get stopped doing a steady speed like that
Yep, me also

Music is a very personal thing, I would never say someone's taste in music is rubbish as long as they have some passion for it
That winds the helll up out of me when someone says a band is @*!#. Its not @*!#, you just don't like it.

Selfless plug time
These are some of the bands I have played in over the years. It covers most genres so you might find something you like
Inter - This was the band that had the record deal and ended up doing various tours, TV, radio etc including a couple of Peel sessions, XFM live sessions and one of our songs used for an advert. A magazine gave up 4 out of 5 and said we were a mix of Radiohead, Green Day and The Manics.

Cow - This is a Motown/soul type of thing that I recorded a few years back at Paul Weller's studio and who we went of tour with.
https://soundcloud.c...d-to-the-mighty
Echo 109 - This was the last album I played on, only just pressed a couple of weeks back. It's a sort of electronic, industrial, ambient, dance thing. Started out as one song and ended up being a whole album.
https://soundcloud.c...pace-and-time-1
Michael Boylan - This is me, my own solo album I am currently recording. It's a bit Jazz, ambient type of thing.
https://soundcloud.c.../michael-boylan
The Fleas - A sort of indie, guitar pop sort of thing.
https://soundcloud.c.../sets/the-fleas
The River Thieves - If you like U2, The Alarm and the 80's stadium thing these you might like this. My first band but a but dated but great memories especially playing In front of 6000 people at Brixton Academy.
This gets a jumbo from me..........and I really like the direction the new stuff is moving in
Thank you Kraziekatz

I'm liking Cow and Inter and Echo 109 - you should be driving a bloody Ferrari with that back catalogue I think I might love the Cow vocalist Maxine Cook.
Hehe, didn't quite make the Ferrari but does a Lotus count
Glad you're liking it though

Not a fan of Lewis but a mature reply from him.
I'm hoping to see a great result from Kvyat and Bianchi. I also think if Riccardo gets the win, the place will go mad.

Kraziekatz needs to see this thread as she was talking to me about this. Plus she's only in Reading.

Oh dear....bad timing for Ferrari
Should make an awesome race watching The two Fezza's and the two Williams cutting through the pack. I think with the whole grid a bit mixed up, it should be very exciting. Just hope we get some rain really really spice it up.

Have the nismo one, it's ok though solved the problem by stealing a pair of my sons socks. Worked a treat yesterday
Now, if I could just stop the leather seat burning my backside.......
Vaseline should help with a burning backside

Closest I've ever had to being in an RTC was the weekend I picked my Zed up! Collected it on the Saturday and being rather excited took it out for another drive on the Sunday. On the way back home approached a roundabout on a stretch of dual carriage way. Left hand land you could turn left or go straight on and the right hand land was straight on only. Approach in the right hand land and there's an old lady driving some generic soccer wagon in the left hand lane. We both pull onto the roundabout but rather than stay in the left hand lane and actually go around the roundabout she just drives straight on ending up straddling the two lanes and misses colliding with me by about a millimetre after I slammed on the brakes. Glad I was in the Zed rather than the Fiesta it replaced, as that wouldn't have stopped in time! Was one positive that came out of it though! Got to test the horn for the first time
Happens to me all the time, why can't people judge how much room to leave on bigger 2 lane roundabouts!!!!!
Sent from the golf club...
People who straight line roundabouts is probably my biggest pet hates probably closely followed by people who get in the wrong lane to jump a Que., for example getting in a right turn only to go straight on.

Utterly pointless thread but feel compelled to provide some equally useless content. A bit like asking which five women you'd most want to sleep with (only FIVE?). Most of the selection purely to gaze at and wax, and one or two to drive:
Bugatti Atlantic / Type 57SC - to gaze at and be part of an extremely select clique who have owned one
Bentley Embiricos - to lovingly kiss and caress
Benz 300SL Gullwing - because it's the original supercar?
Shelby Cobra - for the ultmate lesson in driving technique?
Singer 911 - probably the Mexico as a practical but awesome retro daily driver
With apologies to Aston Martin, Ferrari, Alfa, De Tomaso and De Lorean!
1. Keira Knightely
2. Gal Gadot
3. Shakira
4. Yvonne Strahovski
5. Emilia Clarke
Well, you did ask and I do have a list
Dear NSA, this guy keeps a "babes I'd like to bone" spreadsheet. Scramble the black helicopters.
haha so, today I have discovered I have terrible taste in dream cars but great taste in dream babes

Can I add Bennett's 350Z to my list please Linus.
Didn't realize you had almost 600+whp Bennett. That must be amazing in a 350.
No ..... Because I want it hahaha 600bhp must be totally mental

Well if the OP has added a second list of cars/bike then.....
I've just had my dream garage converted into a hangar, a large runway installed and I've got an F-35 on its way
Oh, ok, in that case, as the OP to this thread, then my garage has just been converted into an airfield and houses a Chinook, a Harrier AV8B, a Tornado GR4 and an F14 Tomcat. To the east of my airfield, I have a go kart track with flyover and tunnel complex. To the south of my airfield I have my own test track. To the west of my airfield I have a dirt track for my scramble bikes and to the north of my airfield I have my enormous mansion with multi level swimming pool. All of this would be housed on some beach in California.
Yeah baby, now who's living the dream
-
I would need nothing more than an RS6 Avant, an Exige Roadster and a 997.2 GTS for my garage.
Sure, a hypercar would be nice but I'd be perfectly content with the above. Performance in spades.
That said, a CGT would be lovely to have too
Yes, someone like me, I'm not alone in this world

Since when is a Ducati a CAR??
You're not doing very well with this thread..... Dream cars = general run of the mill and now DREAM cars = Bikes!
I know I know Other people started putting bikes so I thought sod it, might as well join in
At least I didn't put a chopper like someone
-
Ok, as I am being told my list is somewhat boring, I have decided to put if I was going to do dream cars so here goes.
1. Audi Quattro S1 Sport - Iconic 80's rally car
2. Caterham R500 - Track toy
3. Ducati 1199 Panigale - FUN
4. Lotus Exige 240R - Daily
5. TVR T350 or TVR Sagaris - Holiday until it breaks down
-
Linus...love the way you've literally just rolled into work and you're straight onto the forum to chat
Who knows what or who I would keep in my dream garage.....mwah ha ha
Well, you need to get your priorities right, oh and pot kettle black
I know who I would keep in my dream garage
-
Hehe....and attached to a dream house with luxury swimming pool and gorgeous boyfriend, plus Chopper

Glad I'm not the only one who had this cross their mind

I think this could be another interesting race between the two Merc drivers. Just hope we get a bit of a closer scrap. I think the racing in the field will be similar to Silverstone so we could see some exciting battles.
