It's a whole different car mate! I loved my FN2 and VTEC was very addictive but the Zed pulls like a train in every gear and feels so much more refined than the FN2. Get one, you won't regret it! Thanks for the response it's mainly the harsh ride, 6 years of type r suspension is enough for me will be stripping it back to standard shortly then the hunt for a Z will begin Tell me about it! I never got round to changing the springs on mine but wish I did. The standard suspension on the Zed is miles better. Just seems more refined than the Type R. Good luck mate!

Do the Buster mod if you're having volume problems.. http://www.350z-uk.c...age__hl__buster Heard this is the mod to do and will sort it. I was lucky and didn't need to bother doing it with my new Pioneer HU. Also, I thought I read somewhere before that you should turn off the "speed controlled volume function" on the Bose before removal? I done this before swapping to my new unit, maybe that makes a difference?

Love it mate! Was torn between getting my 350Z or an S2000 as love them both but decided on the 350. I had an FN2 Type R before so love the VTEC engines. Sometimes I see an S2K and think whether I should have went down that road lol
