Looks good, nice and shiny again

So had my car in today for its MOT and they have got it through but I have a hole in my Y-Pipe which must be why it has been louder lately! So I either need to get it welded or get a new one. Opinions anyone? Don't want to spend loads on it right now. If I buy a new one does the brand matter too much? Seen Japspeed ones quite cheap....but are they alright? Cheers.

I am using the same tyre sizes as buster (the standard GT Rays sizes) and have 9.5J ET15 fronts and 10.5J ET15 rears and they are fine with a bit of stretch.

I think its the join between the decat pipes and the y-pipe. Got to put my cats back on for the MOT soon so I'll check it then.

Do you get a hissing and farting noise when the revs drop? That's what I get. Don't know whether getting a new Y-Pipe would fix it?
