  1. Don't want to hijack your thread talking about it but cheers I'm having trouble getting the metallic stuff off it that covers the plastic
  2. Oh actually, didn't see the bit about the bubbling! My bad. Thats why I need one lol
  3. I'm in 2 minds.. I really really need the Z badge off it... but £20 for a Z is a bit much, though I doubt anyone will have or sell a Z on its own
  4. **NOW SOLD** Come with Bridgestone Potenza's. Fronts 4mm, rears 2mm. The condition of the wheels I would say is fair, there is a bit of curbing here and there and a few marks, as you can see in the pictures. I'm looking for £200 collected from Ashford, Kent. Cheers
  5. In an ideal world I'd like them to give up on their life of crime and give back to the community, but there is only so much of an effect a big lock can have..
  6. Sounds like a lot of effort! It'd take a lot of time and noise and tools to get that off, they'll go to my neighbours garage probably
  7. I realise the lock is back to front and someone could use an Allen key to undo the front bolt but the back one isn't reachable so they'd still have a job getting it off couldn't get through the concrete floor to bolt it in the right way round haha. Will fill the Allen key hole with glue but think it will be more than enough to deter them in future
  8. After spending a week slowly scraping off that layer, so its flat? :/
  9. Hey guys, So, I've removed the Z badge, primed and sprayed the cover. I've sanded down the Z badge and seem to have gone too far or loosened the coating on the plastic, it started pealing off and now its a bit screwed, I can either pick/scrape it all off, or get a new one... Anyone know where I can pick one of these up from? If I'd have known this would happen, I'd have filled the Z recess and had it nice and smooth, but too late now I've sprayed it..
  10. haha, no i meant that, needed some hyphens though "getting a big-ass-bolted-to-the-concrete type lock in a min"
  11. Haha, they aren't in my garage yet getting a big ass bolted to the concrete type lock in a min.. Worried now they know they can get in there, they'll come back tonight and get the less easy to move items like my pressure washer, tools, etc..
  12. Was out there this morning, priming my strut brace cover, locked up, took kids to the park for an hour.. Went back to get it so I could sand it down and the door is wide open, the lock is still locked and both mountain bikes are gone.. And my bloody strut brace cover is out on the concrete, with scuffs all up it, I just sprayed it!! bastards. Anyway, grr.
  13. I got my old wheels, but they're at my other halfs dads house, got him to take photos but no username anywhere to be seen... Any way around this rule? Can I photoshop a piece of paper in?
  14. Some pics here mate http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/82216-i-got-around-to-giving-my-z-a-wash-for-the-first-time/page__st__20#entry1227593
  15. Ah nice one, thanks mate! I appreciate it
  16. Do you still have your red gaiter? I'm going to be looking to get one ...
  17. True.. With the nismo spoiler you can barely see anything out there anyway
  18. The red does look good! I might actually go red on the cover, black on the Z.. We'll see I'm half way through priming, but have a bunch of scratches that I need to sand back down and stuff, annoying little particles that made their way on to it while spraying.. Thinking red gator, red brace cover, red engine bay stuff...maybe red arm rests..
  19. I've just taken off all the trim around my rear strut brace cover, taken it off, sanded it down and primed it, going black (previous owner done it black, but it was fairly scratched up) with a red Z on it. Z was easy to get off with the Dremel. Probably going with red accent throughout... I said blue in another post yesterday, but changed my mind at Halfords
  20. Certainly a sobering clip... I tend not to drive fast anyway, I'm the kind of driver that stalls it at the lights
  21. I'd like them done for my 350z, PM me details and I'll send them out today =]
