  1. Everyone's a hard ass behind a steering wheel or a keyboard! In reality, 99% of people will back down during confrontation!
  2. The arm was actually resting on the subframe and had started to wear into the metal! Basically, the bush wasn't doing s**t! Can't believe they were this bad after only 18'000 miles on the clock!
  3. Ever since I bought the car back in December 2013, and with only 18'000 miles on the clock, I was always wary of the bushes on the compression arms (or banana bar as they are commonly referred to). Well after reading several stories of the stock units collapsing and killing balljoints and other components, I decided to remove the weak link and renew the bushes with a set of SPL Pro Spherical bushes. Well, tonight was the night. I put the car up on the ramp, removed the front subframe and what I found shocked me! What I found was that the bush had completely collapsed and had actually started to wear into the metal frame. I removed the arm in order to press out the bush and the actual failure was even more obvious. So out with the old and in the with the new spherical bushing. Nothing but the best... And now that it's fitted, it's all the more solid and most importantly, no knocking noise.
  4. I thought it caused a severe vibration when driving! It was actually my gearbox input shaft bearing that had failed! I just never put the flywheel back in and to be fair, I need the cash!
  5. As advertised on the 350z section, this will also suit a 370z. JWT Lightweight flywheel, approx' 100 miles use. Includes required washers for mounting. £160 inc' delivery to anywhere in the UK. And a video showing the gains on a stock 370z...
  6. Sorting out the rear end with 4.08 gears, NISMO LSD and solid diff' mounts! Want to switch up to a 4.36 gear set, so I'll most likely be selling the 4.08's in the future.
  7. Nope, this will only suit an HR from a late 350Z or VHR from a 370Z. Sorry!
  8. I'll be fabricating a custom intake manifold in the next few weeks and depending on results, may start a service to provide them! Will keep you posted! :-)
  9. For sale a used (approx' 100 miles use) JWT lightweight flywheel. Virtually half the weight of the stock dual mass flywheel. Includes required washers for mounting. £160 inc' delivery to anywhere in UK
  10. I removed this stock clutch from my 350z HR the day I bought the car (as I replaced it with a JWT model). Still loads of meat on the friction disc and very good surface conditions. £60 inc' delivery to anywhere in U.K.
  11. Could you let me see it, just so I know if it will work or not? I'm not too bothered about the labeling, just as long as the conectors and mounting points will be similar. Thanks
  12. I require the wiper stalk switch from a 350z Roadster. As late a model as possible (don't know if it matters but the car it is needed for is a 2008 model) Money waiting! Thanks
  13. Model: Model: Nissan 350z HR (2009) Mods: HKS Panel Filters, Mishimoto Intake Hoses, Motordyne TDX V2 Catback Exhaust, Motordyne ART Test Pipes, UPREV Remap Dyno: TDI North BHP: 338 bhp
  14. Not raced or rallied! So what you're saying is that you've installed a Stillen blower and yet you've never once put the foot down? Yeah, OK!
  15. Just back from TDI North after traveling down there last night, overnights stay, dyno' today and then returned to Glasgow! The whole trip, including hotel, UPREV map, fuel and food has cost me well in excess of £600 The offer is pretty good if you ask me! Wish I'd known about this earlier as I hate driving long distance!
  16. I'm having a full service including new oils and spark plugs carried out on the morning of the mapping session, so it should be at it's best! I'll let you know the results in due time!
  17. Heading down to TDI North next Thursday to have the Uprev remap carried out! With the HKS drop-in filters, Motordyne ART test pipes and Motordyne Shockwave TDX V2 catback dual system, what kinda figures should I be expecting? I just hope the cost of the exhaust system is worthwhile!
  18. 4.08 gears installed! WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!
  19. I need the stock transmission mount if anyone has one! Thanks Dave
  20. Honestly can't believe there is no interest in this!
