  1. Thanks guys. Strange how kids a don't have it or they should at least provide the service of mixing it up for you if it's not available off the shelf.

Had a look at paints 4 u and they have loads of different kinds. What's best? I hear people use a toothpick to fill up the paint slowly?

  2. Hey

I'm after a Le Mans blue touch up pen but nissan don't do this colour any more. Any ideas where I can get it?

Someone's already tried touching up the car with what looks like a navy so I really want the colour to match exactly.

Any existing Le Mans owners who have used a pen please advise?

    Thanks

  3. Thanks for the link bud.

I'm now also thinking of a racing harness. I wanted one in the celica but didn't want to loose the back seats. Since the zed doesn't even have back seats that's not an issue. Had anyone got a harness and do you just attaché it to the strut brace? I also want to leave my normal seat belt (or red belt) for daily driving.

  4. Hey

I want to change my seatbelts to red ones. Purely for asthetic purposes but obviously I don't want any adverse safety issues so has anyone changed their belts and what did you go for? I don't fancy trying ones on eBay.

Think it will look ace in the car.

    Cheers

  5. Tarmac- I seen that on your we page. Have any other customers bought one from the forum? I need to see more pictures before I commit since I didn't initially like any lips for the 370 but seeing as I don't really have an option of other urethane kits I've decided to revisit the front lip zone! I'm also in japan tomorrow so may have a look there too. Will be hard to bring back though

  6. Ditto Mattys qu and also when we get the uprev license is that On the car only so if I upgrade my 370z later on I need to buy the license again or does it go with the person? And what if I have a few cars that can be up revved- do I need a buy a license a few times or can I use my license on my other cars?

  7. I'm just planning to do exhaust (berks cats and removed mid silencer) and I can't be bothered changing my intakes so may just keep stock. I've done all this in my celica but I'm getting too old for it now lol.

Maybe an uprev would be good on just a stock car with upgrades cats and a mid silencer removed

  8. Hey,

so im keen to get the amuse kit however ive heard that plenty of people with fiberglass bumpers get them destroyed with stone chips etc. i dont have a spare 150 quid to get a re spray on the front bumper every year so i would like to find a urethane aftermarket bumper.

i find that the stock bumper just looks like its sitting waaaay too high and i dont like the stock look.

alternatively are there any lips I can get which will be strong enough to withstand the 10k miles im doing a year?

lastly i looked into getting the front end wrapped but since its quite detailed, a lot of people dont want to do a clear wrap on my amuse kit since you will see all the cuts of the wrap and it may not look good. I wouldnt mind some helicopter tape but again it might not look good which defeats the purpose of getting an aftermarket kit.

    Thanks

  9. hey

thanks for the replies all! i'll check out Up garage for parts. i stayed in tokyo for 5 months while i was studying so I've learnt my way around the city but i didn't know what things i could get for the zed.

i'll check it out and if i have any space i'll report back if theres anything members want me to bring back

  10. Hey,

I'm going to Tokyo very soon and i was wondering if there are any things i should maybe get for my car whilst I'm out there? I've not owned the zed long enough to know what parts are very good and only in japan or cheaper in japan. for the celica, i got a few things when i studied out there like C one motorsport suspension parts and blitz air intake etc.

is there anything anyone would think that would be a good thing to bring back? needs to fit in a suitcase though!

on another note I'm gonna try visiting the nissan factory in yokohama but its all in japanese so i need to persuade one of my japanese mates to come with and translate!

  11. Welcome,

Hanan supplied eibach spacers and springs for my 370z which I've yet to fit but i can't until my wheel wobble is sorted. it was pretty much next day delivery and prices were best since he put a package price together for me.

I understand what Jay is saying and maybe he had a bad experience and if thats the case its still worth giving funky power a shout for parts only then since they offer free delivery.

  12. Really?, I cant find it anywhere... online so to speak... & Nissan website only lists the 2012 version for sale.

    I MAY however have found a source for the same 2012 maps on a DVD that work for the systems where the maps are loaded from a DVD rather than an internal HDD, I think these are the cars that have sat-nav, but aren't the connect premium model. Anyone wana give it a shot? Says its compatable with;

    370z roadster

    350z Fairlady 2005-2009

    Murano 2006-2010

    Navara 2005-2010

    Pathfinder 2004-2010

    Patrol 2005-2010

    xtrail 2005-2010

    skyline 2008-2009

    Infiniti 2008-2009
