I had my front bumper and bonnet resprayed last year because of rust bubbles on the bonnet and stone chips on the bumper. Looked really great when done. This year I can see rust bubbles coming through on my bonnet again (on front edge where it meets bumper). My car is 2004. I imagine there is water hidden in the folded over edge of the bonnet, and that if i respray it, it will just rust back though again. What are peoples experiences of bonnet rust bubbles? Has anyone successfully repaired a bonnet? Or is my only solution to buy a new bonnet and have it resprayed? what price am I looking at for a new and a second hand bonnet and respray orange? Thanks

Hello, thought I'd introduce myself as I joined the forum this week. I'm Nic and I've owned my 350Z for 8 and a half years. I live in Bury ST Edmunds, Suffolk. I'm finding the Technical pages really useful, and have lost hours in there already. So much info! I had a new clutch at 80000 miles. It was interesting to read that it is common at that mileage. My boot hasn't opened with 1 click for so long. So irritating! I replaced the gas struts and it didn't fix it, so I'm pleased to read that I can get the boot popper springs upgraded by Peteman35.
