Cheers pal, I was able to finally get rid of the yellow factory wax that was sprayed all about the engine bay. Used white spirits and then hand polished back up while the strut brace was off.

I remember reading that back in the days, those early Honda's had the engine on that side (opposite to the driver) for better weight distribution. Then in the States, with LHD this all goes out the window

Great transformation, looks really good now and protected.

Really good test this and shows it can be done. I'd have definitely have opt'd to sheet the water off prior to blow drying mind.

Personally I don't fell the 70z is a better looking car either. For me its much like the difference between visually the EP3 type r and FN2 type r and I feel that's how the 350z and 370z will be remembered in years to come.

Stunning backdrop at Yaksuhi Car Show held at Whittlebury Hall and with the Sun going down a few of us hung around to grab some snaps. Been a long time since I had professional pictures taken of the Z, so thought id share. Phone pics are ok but clearly nothing compared to a DSLR being used correctly. Cleaned the engine bay the other day and the blower was handy for drying out the little hard to reach places Fitted my polished plenum that I've had for almost a year, thought if it's ever going to go on its now - thank you Ricky. Was accepted into show and shine for Yaksuhi Car Show so it fell well at least. Gave the throttle body and thorough clean out too. Completely finished of the engine bay The weather was just about perfect today too, first and last car show of 2020 and it was a good'un. Services meet up..... With a couple at the lake
