  1. Ready for tomorrow's Z meet 😃
  2. Oh crap!!! Throw something on the Facebook group also, someone might have one available today who's local.
  3. Oh ****!!! Throw a post up on Facebook also, someone might have one today in that area. Where are you now, recovery agent been out?
  4. Ahhhh I see, still a fab upgrade. Yeah same, I wanted a true coilover set up much neater. Manufactures that's offer both options l, the true set up appears to cost a tad more so I like to think it's better 😁
  5. No charge fella. I've extended our reserved parking three times on the run up to the event, I'm sure we'll be fine *tip arrive early
  6. Yes fella, static car event - they'll be more on show than you'll be able to take in. Few of us going for lunch straight after also, a short drive away. Huge Z meet *no public, trophy's, convoy and lunch.
  7. Very much not something to be rushed, take you time fella. Plenty more club meets to come
  8. Nice one pal. How long have you had yours installed for?
  9. Rare find, shared these earlier in the week with a couple pals
  10. Lovely progress, keep them coming
  11. I build up throughout the week, mucky jobs first engine bay and exhaust. Arches the next day, interior one day and then exterior the next.
  12. That's what I was after, actual user experience rather than guesswork. I'll order some now to use as keen to protect these rare puppies. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/194164143635 Sales blurb These are just amazing. A worthwhile investment for just £35 delivered you can protect your new Coilovers from rain, saltwater, dirt and grime. Adding much more in value when it comes to selling them plus allows for quick and easy adjustment when you have no seized parts! A NO BRAINER REALLY! Features: • Ripstop strong yet lightweight material • Elasticated Top and Bottom for a nice snug fit. • Heavy duty wide Velcro fastening. • Waterproof, Dirt proof and yet still breathable. • Protects Coilovers from rust, road debris, dirt and saltwater Don’t mistake these for the inferior quality neoprene wet suit type material that lets water through. Cheers again fella
  13. Nice work, can dial the look and feel to how you want now. What was the reason for going for true over OE divorced set up? Any side by side pictures of the BC's next to the Nismo set up.
  14. Yeah a level slammed car might look good but yeah defiantly compromised handling and possibly high speed stability due to a light feeling front end. Yeah the helper would be that quicker reacting force keeping the wheel on the ground maintaining grip/traction *in theory. 911 GT3 runs helper springs and no doubt the handling and body control is best in the game, so no bad thing.
  15. All sorted in the end, well done fella - now you know.
  16. Looking very smart!! In door car car session = bliss. Clear your diary for this Sunday pal, won't be one to miss.
  17. Can't beat a bit of carbon 😎
  18. Cheers matey, chatting to Jerrick @ MeisterR recently who goes why don't you just my a set from me - tried and tested. I said where's the fun in that 🤣 Had to make a little cut, really want to put some effort into part 2 Updated Highlight Spec Motordyne ART pipes *heat wrapped Motordyne XYZ pipe with HFC Thorney Motorsport custom 3' exhaust Ramair cone filter *80mm intake JPerformance 3’ hard pipe intake Wasso 5/16 anodized plenum spacer VMS lightweight crank pulley Exedy stage 2 clutch HDev Grounding kit DIRENZA oil catch can Varrstoen ES2-19’ Continental Sport Contact 6 WAT Racing Coilovers *true 14kg/6kg TarmacSportz rear camber arms Whiteline Z33 differential poly bush kit UltraRacing W brace SuperPro ARB bushes Retrimmed alcantra steering wheel B&M Racing shifter MY06 headlamps and rear lamps TarmacSportz rear diffuser TarmacSportz V1 rear style spats Custom side steps Leon Cupra front splitter Carbon b post trims, door mirror covers, engine cover, slam panel, battery/brake servo covers and front bumper insert.
  19. Cheers pal, means alot - need more updates on yours. Got my license in 2001 and in that time only had 5 cars *2 currently. I take the time to find the best example I can afford and I look after them. Never been one for chopping and changing, so end up having my cars for a long time. Enjoy doing what bits I can myself and the car only goes into a garage for its annual MOT or wheel alignment. Then there's realms of detailing, very much a passion. I could be given a 400z press car for two days and if it was dirty, instead of driving it non stop I'd rather spend the first half of the day cleaning it thoroughly and then go for a drive as that's what I enjoy.
  20. I didn't choose the spring rates, didn't even know what they were till the package arrived and from reading past threads on here 14/6 is what I'd have chosen. No doubt with more time behind the wheel and when I raise the ride height a tad dial in some rake, il be able to lean on the car to see how it responds. Normal driving thus far feels really good. Also 14kg with the 2kg helper spring I guess would change the dynamics at the guess being sandwiched together?
  21. At a glance fitment (wise) looks the same apart from the front lower mounts. Retailers probably don't think 70z owners are proper drivers 😆
