  1. I would tick that box then 🤣 To be fair I've always been fond of fitting the best tyres you can reasonably afford, especially on a performance car. Without question the biggest difference feel wise to a car like the Z33 or Z34 would be to go from mixed budget tyres to a set of UHP from Continental, Michelin or Goodyear. You should see the GTR club at Japfest, 95% fitted with MPS4's or 4S other than that the OE Bridgestone, track day semi slicks or Eagle F1 Supersports. By far the most popular tyre on our club stand was again Michelin, so there's more of us than you think.
  2. Picture of the MPS5 in the wild for all you tyre slags. Fair to say Michelin care about how their sidewalls look ☺️
  3. ello Saw this stunner yesterday, stick around 👍
  4. All cars were looking AMAZING!! tell that even from here 🤣 *Only 50% of the club stand
  5. I would leave one in the boot just in case 😄
  6. Lovely to catch up AJ and thank you kindly for arrange another amazing club attendance. I've been well and truly Japfest'd 😮‍💨
  7. Been a week or so and up she goes to do a final check over of the underseal as you can't really gauge coverage on the day of application. Few small areas needed a go over, however thus far I'm pleased to confirm that after a short drive the idea for the brake discs grooves work. You can see they are fairly well rusty as per usual after a wash and yet the grooves are still black. A longer drive needed to fully clean up the discs, but so far I'm impressed. Coming out of Autumn/Winter a check of the suspension behind the coilover socks also peaked my interest. As fresh as the day they went on, lock ring once loose can be spun by hand with easy. Highly recommend these particular socks for anyone who has coilovers, a no brainer as it's called in showbiz. 8. Tickets and vehicle pass printed ✅ Weather once setup looking just about perfect also. Everyone have a safe journey on Sunday, slow and steady needed as it'll be barely above freezing for the time most of us will be setting off.
  9. Lovely footage, that VQ sound just unreal - what weather also. Mega quick hands too pal 👍
  10. It'll be made from mild steel fella
  11. Group test for the Michelin Pilot Sport 5 and Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6
  12. Exactly this haha I'm in the process of swapping over the wheels on the Sunny, so made perfect sense to test out the two products side by side as - unless you take off the wheels you can't do this. Also the test was done on a pair of front wheels so equally contaminated, rather than a front wheel vs a less contaminated rear wheel. I hit them all afterwards with a tar and glue remover (great minds) which to be fair didn't show up anything on the faces. The wheels are routinely washed so the tar was kept at a very low level. Very much rate Autoglym's offering.
  13. Nice one pal. Had my couple of bottles arrive yesterday so made sense to make a video.
  14. I didn't know if a slim spacer was needed between the bells and hub to centre the discs in the caliper. As you say custom made bells for the car would negate any messing around, very nice work and direct fit. Would these clear 18's would you imagine?
  15. I'd go for exhaust, might have a broken hanger or poorly made. At a certain load it might be touching the chassis or possibly the prop.
  16. Yeah pal, keeping well this end. Did you have to shim the bells in the end or are they direct into the hubs?
  17. Those look dreamy matey, why have Chinese when you can have British 💪 Martin aka The Z guru strikes again. Also your Akebono brakes are a good upgrade for the 350z owners.
  18. Great deal on Autoglym Magma, I've just ordered a couple bottles as running low https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B079QM2JN1?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image Colour Transform Technology reacts with iron particles on your bodywork and wheels so they can be easily rinsed away for a deep clean. Simply spray onto the exterior surfaces of your car after shampooing, wait for it to react as it loosens any iron contamination and rinse away.
  19. These look MEGA!!! Looking forward to the install update. Popping your track cheery also, fair play. Pushing ones car on track is sooooo different to on road, can actually lean on the chassis and see what's underneath you. @Charlie Boy you need to follow this 👍
