  1. I have no experience with boosted setups and if it's been running like that for this long it can't be bad. If it was plumbed into the intake pre charger via a catch can, you'd get both a bit of vac and wouldn't gum the charger up. Thinking out loud, the crankcase air system isn't closed loop. On idle the pcv valve is open (one per valve cover on Z34) which would create a vacuum in the engine, so there's another two ports on the valve covers with no one way valve allowing fresh air to be drawn into the engine. When the pcv valves are closed under throttle or boost, positive crankcase pressure can vent via the valve less ports. Under boost currently the crankcase pressures aren't escaping under the aid of vac.
  2. Got the boys on the job!!! Subscribed ✅ Crankcase breather vent to atmosphere I always thought was a bad idea as you get no vac assist? plus a misty engine bay. Ideal set up would be to plumb to pre supercharger, bit of vac and fresh air.
  3. This!! These are facelift lamps which where fitted to the RevUp DE onwards. Only visual exterior HR difference was the bulge bonnet and one interior change over the RevUp......

    Exhaust Rattle

I doubt it's the exhaust at all if you barely hear a rattle when revving at stand still. I would say interior trim due to exhaust resonance.
  5. Cheers pal. The 350z has a overly round back end, so it helps to square it off nicely.
  6. I have this one TS rear diffuser
  7. On a serious note I do quite fancy a go of their blue stuff pads for my next brake change.
  8. Non road legal brake pads you say, well don't drive behind me on the road 😁
  9. Merry Christmas @George1966 and club members. Fantastic seeing you at our club meets as always, here's to a lovely 2023 😁
  10. Of course I'm bias however for the money, I don't think you can beat it. That feature car in the article amazingly, has just over 4000 miles on the clock 🤯
  11. That is some luck, not only are they facelift lamps but we're fitted to a DE. Great upgrade for any 03-05 350z, what a price.
  12. Fantastic wrap up and major congrats on the achievements. All the very best with the healing pal also and merry xmas
  13. Awful but lucky to not of had piston to valve contact. Did well to diagnose the broken cam, doubt I would have found that. I wouldn't replace the gallery gaskets if already been done, as the part should have been the uprated items. Good condition used cam I would use.
  14. He's had it a while, I mean 3 or 4 weeks since I noticed it. In front of the C Class is a e92 M3. Stock for stock I'd expect one of these to beat a 350z, as the old one was the same time round the Top Gear test track back in the days. Would I swap a 350z, yeah I would I reckon - meant to drive so nice. Would I swap my 350z, I wouldn't.
  15. Dude up the road has a grey one, looks really nice. In my opinion much nicer than the old model.
  16. oh no!! used a sub UK spec Jap import with tiny brakes, small 17' alloys/skinny tyres that came on the base spec imports 🤦🏾‍♂️
  17. No way!!! This month marks 2yrs of the WIm Hof Method *science backed influence over immune response. Cold showers of late or brutal but won't overcome. Having young children I pick up all sorts from them, wife that's works in healthcare for several years also doesn't help. I've had one cold in the last 2yrs that was gone in a few days and considering the period in history we all find ourselves in, think that's very good. Above the WHM is the psychology behind not doing it, which intrigues me. I know so so many people who prior to recent times/synthetic intervention were fit and well, now have had a number of rough colds, aches pains prolonged coughing, shakes, feeling weak the list goes on. However after looking into natural benefits of the below, wouldn't want to help themselves. I find it amazing and also sad. However as I understand reality, we have something inside of us all that doesn't always want for our best interest. It's one thing to know it's there and why, it's another to not even be aware. 18. Hello Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories): - under body and suspension components rusty Alot of the suspension on these cars are aluminium which is great so can't rust. The above I would imagine relates to the centre chassis brace, referred to as a w brace. Non structural and bolt on/off for replacement. Re the suspension rust, I would imagine this would be the rear anti roll bar which is prone to surface rust. Never seen one fail for rust, so if it is this part wire brush, rust treatment and paint will suffice. - rear axle rusty and suspension parts Only parts this relates to would be the half shafts, again surface rust I'd imagine so same gig needed as the anti roll bar.
  19. Destination Peak District - Nov 2022 🥶
  20. Bare in mind all mpg will go down a margin in the autumn/winter months for obvious reasons. I've never seen anyone with a catch can plumbed in correctly say it's a waste of time. It helps reduce the amount of oily mist going into the intake, I mentioned it as yours seem to have a fair amount present. I've ran this one for a number of years with no issues, just upgraded the lines to better oil hoses. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07N2NZZTF?tag=picclick02-21&linkCode=osi&th=1&psc=1
  21. Shifter finisher is a must!!! Nice move, looks great. Also I can definitely recommend a oil catch can to help reduce oily mist entering the intake, ECU expects to see a mixture of air and fuel ideally.
  22. Put a little heat through ol' girl this morning, roads were dead 👌 - Varrstoen - Continental SC6 - Brembo -
