  1. In this thread or pm? Not looking to trash talk another thread, I'll make a name for myself....... David
  2. My previous related posts have today again been confirmed to be correct.....Furthermore I have never seen a standard DE put down 290bhp+ on ANY rolling road.
  3. That's the stooopidest thing I've ever heard. The plenum spacer allows the engine to breath better, the same as an enclosed intake, HFC or an exhaust system. A free flowing exhaust allows for more fresh air into the cylinders too, ie intake and exhaust both complement each other so to say the above statement is ridiculous. The ecu does not dial back gains shown from bolt on mods, all the ecu is trying to do is maintain the factory mapped AFR which is fine. For example high rpm 13.5 AFR with standard intake and exhaust denotes standard power all things being equal. The same AFR with bolt ons creates more power. tuner maps a standard 350z and logs the figures. Uploads the same map to a full bolt on zed, which would make more power? David
  4. Very much doubt this particular rolling road is wrong by circa 20bhp, he wouldn't be in business for long if he's so far out on figures surely. 290bhp+ from breather mods on a DE is common place anyways tbf, on different dyno up and down the country. With a remap, peak power from what I gather generally see's gains of 10-15bhp on a healthy engine. Love this car David
  5. Well done mate, amazed me when folks say the 350z won't show any long term gains with breather mods without a remap lol Any pics on the dyno or videos David
  6. So........ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/104995-just-had-dyno-run/
  7. Nice one, you must be pleased. go on what engine mods do you have?

  9. an indy garage would charge about £120 for a P1 service.
  10. stoopid connectors and odd looking ribbon looms yes, but everything electrical still works on my 92' Sunny winter daily - bet many other manufactures of the same era cant boast the same ie your astras, rover 200's escorts and 309's..........
  11. yes but i'm sure the sale went ahead on the premise there was no damage present...........
  12. Late for work is all, standard
  13. easy enough to do ive not long done one, where you based? david
  14. not used my Zed in the last fortnight, second car deployed
  15. What's the battery voltage showing once the engine is running? Anything less than 13.5 means the alternator isn't doing it thing sadly. Chances are if the alternator has been weak for a while, it will have been asking the battery to do too much causing it to also fail.
  16. with mapping to suit, gains should be had
