Yes it is/was: - 286.5bhp from bolt on breather mods prior to remap, seems like good gains to me on a 11yr old motor........ IF the 301bhp figure is accepted as true, the 286bhp figure from 30mins ago must also be true. Bolt ons work just fine and Steve's pre uprev AFR graph proves this, no issues at wot @ high rpm.

260 lb-ft at 2300rpm (20 lb-ft gain) for n/a this thing must haul ass!! Stunning motor Steve

HR more air in, more fuel in also? Less low down lb-ft = tad less less mpg. The fact that it's always HR Roadster will be the biggest reason behind the fuel difference.

Thus the pre and post uprev figures are as close to true as anyone would expect, clever ickle Nissan ecu allowing breather mods to make power and maintain this above factory figure. Ive used recleaned/oiled cone filters for years on my previous MAF'd motor *Nissan Almera GTi without issue. Warm soapy water in a bucket, dunk the filter and clean, shake well once happy all dirt is removed and allow filter to dry naturally - light mist of air filter oil/spray and reuse filter. At the very worst, a clean of the MAF sensor a few hundred miles later to keep the engine running sweat is all you'll need. David

The cars themselves from what I gather can be hit or miss, so need to approach the purchase as you would with any other dealer. Their after sales I think can be poor so something to look out for again
