  1. Notice how each of those promotional videos show the tyre operating and shifting water on the passenger side...... Interesting
  2. For the early 350z I don't think the effect will be as good visually. Reason, the actual chrome in the headlamp either side of the dipped beam is used and designed to enhance the light output of the lamp. The zenon set up leaks light by design either side of the dome glass. The facelift lamps with larger optical dome does away with the light leak as it's not needed. Still can black parts of the upper inner headlamp but might look odd. David
  3. Outer part of the tyre is directional but can be fitted with way, says it all. Surely one side of the car is shifting water better than the other? Not for a second pretending I know more than uniroyal but aesthetically they look odd left to right.
  4. ^ that illustration of the wheel and tyre should be fitted to the passenger side of the car no?
  5. Mine tail pipes don't sit perfectly straight, but a 50p jubilee clip round the one exhaust rubber and its sorted.
  6. Looks great!! Are those Rainsports tyres directional? As I think they are on the wrong side of the car... http://www.mytyres.co.uk/simg/pdp/custom/uniroyal/rainsport3/rainsport_3-1.png
  7. My 350z has a K2, no issues and sounds great.
  8. Also very nice meeting you and your lush Zed, aka the ickle street racer LOL David
  9. reminds me of an Evo 7/8 steering wheel
  10. i'll be there, fancy some more track action
  11. What about the other breather hose on the other bank that plumbs in pre throttle body?
  12. black 350z with black RAYS wheels and silver soft top. silver soft top had a super late braker mx5 up his inside into the old first corner which ended in tears.

    HFC questions

^ I doubt the AFR will suffer from those mods
  14. Awesome gathering of Zeds and nice to see many many other Zeds about the show other than on the club stand. The 6 car 350z convoy in from the west Midlands was a real high speed treat also. Had two stabs at the track today in my 350z, first time on track in a private car and absolutely loved it. Car performed brilliantly and could have gone way faster with more track time, 28psi cold felt great on track. Had my little brother along side me which was a GREAT aid. Extra pair of eyes on the look out so I could focus forward. I was on track both times the 350z's bin'd it and obv both down to poor judgement that didn't need to happen. Being aware of others cars around you is paramount on these types of track sessions, both of which led to the off's. Anyways , best wishes to those that had off's today. Roll on the next big Zed meet.

    HFC questions

Will be OK, plenty of folks run them without a remap
  16. Mate you are an absolute **** face!!! Argh I want a MM makeover. Looks epic, so much time and effort gone into this. I bet the pictures don't do it justice as it'll be CLEAN as he'll everywhere too!
  17. Pop along to a dynojet and you'll see 300bhp+ Only messing, those are strong numbers either way. I'd rather have 250whp and 290bhp, than 240whp and 300bhp *similar curves david
  18. Directional tyres do look good but the industry for passenger cars has moved away from this design hence your issue in finding the type you want. Compare the old Goodyear Eagle f1's to the current ones and see what I mean. By the best tyres you can afford and check the reviews and you'll be fine. Ultimately you can bin any car on any tyres if you drive like a dick. I personally love a nice looking sidewall and the yokohama parada spec2's were my fav in my fwd days purely on looks.
  19. Feels great getting your motor mag featured, though in a past life I only had a two page spread but loved it all the same. Love your 350z
  20. Looks immense, hey if it rains we'll see the epic beading
