  1. First action, carry out an ecu reset
  2. Best to take the door trim panel to have a nose round and then if you still can't work out what's up, take off the other door trim panel to see how it should look. Trampy jealous f#uk faces
  3. One up and you'd have gone quicker, good close racing!! Thanx for sharing David
  4. I like it!! With the right wheels and JDM decals it look great. Really nice work, love the time and effort - proper repair and respray
  5. Then a re check 50 miles later
  6. I mean the wheel could have been pulled down unevely
  7. Unevenly torqued wheel nuts I've found causes this, rather than driving style.
  8. Totally unsure what hard pipe intake I have but it's mated to a Simota cone filter. Normal every day driving this set up felt more responsive than my OE intake and air box I'm currently using. Plus the noise with the cone filter was amazing.
  9. im very pleased its all sorted now. i think the fact that you felt it necessary to carry out a reset at the services mid journey means the issue be it small was still present. then since the reset on a warm engine, allowed the idle to drop to book spec - meanimg that was the fix.
  10. Bought mine and it had nasty Bosch copper ones, fitted some 350z DE NGK Iridium Spark Plugs and it idles/pick up much better.
  11. Notice how each of those promotional videos show the tyre operating and shifting water on the passenger side...... Interesting
  12. For the early 350z I don't think the effect will be as good visually. Reason, the actual chrome in the headlamp either side of the dipped beam is used and designed to enhance the light output of the lamp. The zenon set up leaks light by design either side of the dome glass. The facelift lamps with larger optical dome does away with the light leak as it's not needed. Still can black parts of the upper inner headlamp but might look odd. David
  13. Outer part of the tyre is directional but can be fitted with way, says it all. Surely one side of the car is shifting water better than the other? Not for a second pretending I know more than uniroyal but aesthetically they look odd left to right.
  14. ^ that illustration of the wheel and tyre should be fitted to the passenger side of the car no?
  15. Mine tail pipes don't sit perfectly straight, but a 50p jubilee clip round the one exhaust rubber and its sorted.
  16. Looks great!! Are those Rainsports tyres directional? As I think they are on the wrong side of the car... http://www.mytyres.co.uk/simg/pdp/custom/uniroyal/rainsport3/rainsport_3-1.png
