    New Ride

    Looks Lovely pal, enjoy
  2. Mines a fair weather/weekend car as i had my j reg Sunny (classic car insurance) anyways and it make zero sense in selling that for what it costs to keep on the road. Plus the 350z is no good, when on the rare occasion when i drop the kids to nursery, dance or do the food shop. Not overly interested in keeping the 350z mileage down, but spreading the costs of tyres, brakes, suspension and clutch over a longer period due to the reduced annual mileage is win.
  3. Totally depends on the sort of driving thats being done and for how long, mpg will drop as we come into the winter also.
  4. cool ickle motors, that sound so well imo
  5. The money you going to spend upgrading to something newer, IF space allows many peoples advise would be to buy a reliable beater for work and keep the zed that you know & like for fridays and/or weekends. Reduced annual mileage for the 350z will result in cheaper insurance and less money for Zed tyres, brakes etc as the mileage will be greatly reduced. A newer car doing the same mileage as the Zed currently, will run thru tyres, brakes, clutch much the same as any other vehicle and depreciate MUCH more than the 350z.
  6. I hate heel & toe on fly by wire cars, much better on cable throttle body imo. I find the VQ's with DMF to rev so slow, heel & toe is a nuisance at low rpm.
  7. Japspeed stuff isnt Japspeed, its all Chinese made just relabeled replicas of brand name companies. Same as Toyosport, Xpower and JPerformance............... all the same stuff.
  8. Doesn't want to spend the money on the Zed, but willing to spend way more for a new Focus ST.............
  9. What i will say is, i would hate to daily my Zed in city centre traffic every day. Just not a nice car for that sort of daily commute. My daily or whenever i fancy is my J reg 1.4l Sunny, super light steering, gear change and clutch, great visibility, small easy to park, everyone gives you way (pity vote) dirt cheap to insure, tax and run (no wear & tear part costs more than £50 to buy new). Park it up and walk away, with no fear of car park dings - bliss. Also getting back into the 350z after a few days in the Sunny, makes it feel like a Bugatti Veyron
  10. Awful news, hope you get it sorted promptly
  11. Suits the BM way better pal!!!
  12. Subscribed to the build pal, but looking smart so far from when I last saw it at SVM
  13. End of August meant MOT time *its first with me Apart from the quick checks of the levels, lights, tyres and wipers i remebered i wanted to tart up the under body chassis W brace as these are prone for corrosion and mine was sadly no different. Pretty poor condition but solid enough at the moment. Wire brush and brush painted as much was i could while lying on the cold floor. Getting to pilot your own MOT..................... bliss What do you meant to have to test drive my car because it had a LSD? Straight pass with NO advisories, Get In!!!!!!!!
  14. Foam filters sound awesome too, especially big'uns August came time for a lads road trip out to Lake Vyrnwy Wales, only my second time going there but its so so lovely and looks just like a postcard as some of you very well know. Apart from picking up a stone on the rear N/S tyre, the 350z was faultless. Punches well for 230bhp, damn trick diff Breakfast at a truck stop over in Cannon on the A5 Till the next time Then at the end of every road trip or car show, quick spray of citrus pre wash and jetwash
  15. It sure is, works surprisingly well. Nice cheap addition, as the front does need that bit extra in my view. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/111701-alternative-front-splitter-cupra-r/page__fromsearch__1
  16. Im in the same boat or be it 14 months and yes its a great place to be No nasty suprises at the MOT either, so let the good times roll
  17. DE guys would have bought these ages ago. HR guys mods funds goes on road tax LOL
