  1. I swap between my 06' OE airbox and WAI with hard pipe, the noise alone of the cone filter on the big V6 is worth it for me. Then of course it thats what you're after, they also look way better than the OE air box too. Day to day you're not going to notice 3-4bhp lose/gain either way........
  2. If if had been a standard exhaust system the driver wouldn't have been bouncing the engine of the limiter, as there'd be little to show off about. Awful what's happened, although easily avoidable.
  3. Sooooo much character too, not perfect but that makes it all the more special with that noise!!! Idle to redline in less than a second.
  4. Veyron has a mix of visible and non exhaust tailpipes, no biggie
  5. ∆ not much sand here in the West Midlands....... Best over engineered car from Japan that i absolutely love...... Lexus LFA. No quicker than cars an a 1/4 of the price but boy is it special. There'll never be another Japanese car quite like it.
  6. Id go for PS4S all round and keep your RE050a as spares for worst case
  7. Looking good chap? going Japfest next month? I cant help but think, id like my wheel spacers to have a larger diameter than the wheel centre boss - aesthetically
  8. Its just a car, dont worry so much
  9. I have this also to do on mine argh!! its intermittent at the moment which to me seems odd. GREAT guide, thank you for taking the time to share once investigated and resolved.
  10. Ummmm, the McLaren F1 was a 90s baby. 92-98 Production yes, my get out is pen hit paper for it's design in the 80's
  11. Out of JPN the original Honda NSX takes some heating for what it did for the segment. My pin up, 964 turbo
  12. Brother in-law pop'd round last night to let us have a drive of the Rex. Drove really nice, feels low slung (not Caterham low but) and you can tell it'll hug the road at speed. Great steering feel and weight, light clutch with gear changes similar to an S2000. Very strange having to wait till at least 5,000 rpm before you get going., but once up there, the free revving nature is pretty amazing - not to mention 9k shifting!! Looking forward to some b road plays come the Summer against the Zed.

  14. If you've been to a tyre centre and they've advised its ok to drive until replaced........................ https://www.amazon.co.uk/Loctite-Super-Glue-Bottle-8000/dp/B0001GRVPK
  15. Used in previous cars, really good stuff.
  16. hhhmmm not as one would expect....
  17. And redesigned lower plenum, tailored for more top end iirc.......
  18. Oil pressure sensor inop, I'm my case the gauge read of the scale with ignition on. Sub woofer cutting out and OE Bose headunit skips CD's. Leaking rocker cover gaskets, checking previous service invoices and cost of spark plugs is a good indication of how it was looked after. If the plugs are cheap, it's more than likely corners may have been cut along the way also. Ideally you want matching tyres all round and a decent name also gives an idea of how it's been looked after. Along with the above posts, the rest of issues are general wear and tear or clutch, brakes, exhaust, tyres and battery.
