  1. Same, to my mind a vehicle like the X is excess nobody needs a 90k+ EV SUV. Day to day it does nothing more than a 50k SUV would and over the course of ownership will not save you the difference from the purchase price. Neither is it a positive impact on the planet when you factor in cost to build, ship and disposal once it's no longer of use. Also the annual service costs of £1400 for the first two services is horrendous imo considering what the actually do.
  2. I'd HAVE to stock wheel it until the dirty work was done....... Getting there pal
  3. From this incident ultimately you and your family are ok and not injured, thankfully the Ibiza driver too. In light of the recent events in the UK whereby the absolute worst things imaginable have happen, be humble. What if your car was stolen and there was no third party to claim off? Who would you enjoy taking to court? What if the stolen car had you daughters very first 1st place award for a project, which to your family was irreplaceable what then? find comfort in the knowledge that options are on the table and not dwell over those that aren't.
  4. I'm sorry but your acting as if you had your 911 R wrote off.......
  5. Only ever had the one exhaust system on the car, but man I think it sound great!!
  6. Doesn't happen often however the other night me and my little brother did a wife swap for a quick drive out.
  7. Might help http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/310245943971
  8. ^ it is possible to get over the line first (win race), yet with a slower 1/4 mile time.................................
  9. Savings to be had then for the next owners haha
  10. I was parked on your left 😎 stunning car pal, very nice but needed to be parked on the front row!!
  11. Heart breaking pal, I've had a car broken into and boost gauge, pillar pod and sound system taken - just folks that at this point in their lives are lost.
  12. The Zed doesn't suit most life styles and partly why they can change hands so frequently like Porsches. Current owners of which there are a few, haven't bought one because of practicality, cheap to run, outright speed, ease of tuneability and least of all safety truth be told. After the 350z/370z a direct replacement is down the sports car and/or GT route, easy. To go down the sensible route even more so, however ask any zed owner what things they love about their car - the sound of the exhaust and looks will be a common denominator. Something no ev will ever be able get round with a software update. Ev have their place, outside school gates or parked in the oversized bays outside Asda.
  13. Tbf a lesser vehicle might have explode upon impact, due to the half a star less safety rating.
  14. Im also a dad with two little girls, Mrs has a Nissan Note and it does the job perfectly. Then also couple time a year holiday down Cornwall and the single track *2 way lanes as dealt with very well as the car is so narrow. Great visibility and super easy to park, an SUV in part would be a nightmare on some of the lanes with a vehicle trying to pass while im parked half in a bush. Just no need right now for anything super big, pretty most dads on here would sing the same tune also.
  15. Truly bad ass 350z!!! Next level
  16. Stunning car, would so love one. Why not photo your own car for the interior?
  17. Lovely progress so far, always liked silver cars with black wheels
  18. Going a little bit of topic here but stay with me. The Germans build cars incredibly efficiently, same platform different body with shared engines throughout the company. Ability to produce loads of cars quickly and very cost effective. However you loose the special aspect of a car and zap character. The Japanese car culture up until late as we all know key focus is around character and innovation hell they even give cars a face in the design. The gt86 has been such a massive hit for the two companies not because of POWER or lap times or scope for massive power gains, but due to individuality balance and fun. My good friend works for VAG hq in Milton Keynes, with meetings about product line and there is one layout of car they don't have on their books, no prizes for guess what - front engined rwd pure sports car.
  19. Rolling shot for reference, standard tyres on RAYS, Tein springs with 20/15mm spacers.
  20. There's a thread on a NSX forum asking why does the 350z sound so good haha. This side of a V8, I really don't think you can beat it.
  21. Our resident purple rocky bunny 350z owner made the same move, iirc said nice car but never really felt special being tuned version of a boring saloon car.
