  1. Wouldn't need a dedicated wheel cleaner if they were sealed, car shampoo will do nicely once a fortnight. OP reads like a plug post....................
  2. It would place the Jewish calendar at 5480 instead of the more significant 5777 we're told today.
  3. EV in the UK account for very little of the overall market, so why pump their showrooms full of silent vehicles if the buying public aren't interested? The infrastructure for EV today isn't in place the same way fuel stations are so to the average Joe ICE is king. The industry is moving towards hybrid at the moment and will do for a good while yet. Working for the biggest lease company in the UK (ie bigger than both our closest competitors put together) would you like you guess from the 330,000 plus vehicles we have, how many are from Tesla?
  4. Good move on the wheels for the intended use of the car, looks smart.
  5. Yeah, seem like nice folk too LOL Not my thread to bash, so handbrake is firmly pulled up.
  6. ^ lol he's words..... not mine
  7. JW...... you rang lol EV's are cool and get to have a mini meet at every service station I like Elon, he believes in God. I've driven a few EV's and find them as boring as waiting for ones luggage at an airport departure lounge. As a home to work/school to home form of transport I doubt they can be beaten for 90% of the car buying....... sorry financing/leasing public.
  8. Thought ok, that's not meant to look like this. Definitely a worth while investigation as no doubt the partially block solenoid ports will be having an adverse effect on not only engine smooth running, efficiency but performance also. Cleaned and tested both solenoids, working at least from what I can gather. Clean up pictures, note also some sealant inside bank 1 solenoid too ffs. As you can imagine the engine feels noticeably better for it and the idle is now bang on!!!! Not driven it a great deal, but the light throttle matter in thr higher gears is nowhere to be seen either - result.
  9. Time for some well needed maintenance, in relation to engine health. From day one of ownership very nearly 2 years ago, it's always had a slight hesitation on idle once warm and when rolling on/off light throttle again a hesitation. Through swapping out intakes I've changed the MAF, no difference at all. Cleaned out and freed up the PCB valve as good practice still no difference. On the the VVT solenoids and after almost 80k, couldn't do any harm with a freshen up. From here il let the pictures do the talking
  10. Vettel FTW, oh wait....... Mate (massive Hamilton fan) was round just and I said it, Bottas under normal circumstances should not be out qualifying Hamilton. Imo Lewis is the 4th best driver on the grid at best.
  11. Poor guy, im sure he'll learn for the next time.
  12. No Varley16 Hows it feeling so far on the new suspension? Bet there's little need for uprated ARB's now.
  13. Nice share, tbf any of those top tyres would be great on our cars being used daily
  14. Not all 5w30 are the same, might sound obvious but do be sure to check. 5w30 for a VQ35 will have want a different a viscosity index to a 5w30 needed in a 1.3 CDTi Combo van. http://lubematch.shell.co.uk/gb/en_GB/browse/cars
  15. Cheers pal, not bad for a complete phone effort
  16. Tried to get everyone cars in, sorry for the long video but I was enjoying myself
