  1. Sorry to hear of your issues. +1 for Bilt Hamber Touchless, it's mega. A Touchless wash will be greatly affected by the quality and durability of your current sealant. I would: - Pre wash with BH Touchless 50:1 *dry car - Jet wash thoroughly - Air blower or go for a short drive I personally would however alway look to clean the glass with something like BH Traceless or similar. Clean glass is essential, safety related and won't be taxing on your back.
  2. Saves starting a whole new thread, fair few group members booked up for this. Be nice to have a few of us together also. https://opentrack.co.uk/view-dates?view-event=444
  3. These looks mega now pal, very nice

  5. Nice one for the track day, seems like you've done all the necessary checks. Maybe try a battery disconnect and reconnect.
  6. Brakes uprated so Thursday evening it was back to Donington Park, couldn't have asked for better weather - it was HOT out there!! Went up with a good pal in his BMW Z4M Roadster, it received alot of love maybe a bit too as he got black flagged for 101db with the exhaust bungs in!! Shared a garage which was handy for passenger rides in each and vehicle checks - 26psi all round, tow hook fitted, lid on and time for the sighting laps. Cool down between stints Some of the vendors photos New braided lines, high temp fluid and PBS track pads held up to the abuse, very impressed and found myself braking too early for the corners given the stopping power and surface grip due to the high ambient temperature. We had the same lines Lap after lap and the 991 Turbo S couldn't keep up with the little Z4M, which he was rather pleased about.
  7. Love a bit of custom exhaust fab work, 3' for your setup is needed il bet. Not running a w brace? JDM spec diff I see too.
  8. Mine from the Cotswolds ๐Ÿ˜ Hopwood Services pre meet Z Convoy to the venue Breakfast venue outside seating area privately booked for the morning
  9. Absolutely awful!! So sorry to hear and glad you ok. PS4S fitted too, conditions will have been truly terrible.
  10. THANK YOU EVERYONE! for coming on our July Cotswolds breakfast meet. Brilliant turnout, way more than expected. Fair few cars I had never seen before either. Wonderful day out for the MidlandZ Club.
  11. Lovely touches with the orange and new rear spoiler goes well too. What's next, oil catch can?
  12. Soon be here folks, also can give my new track pads a steady bed in also ๐Ÿ˜
  13. It's a measure if it goes ahead for the rich, no doubt insurance companies will be all over this when settling accident claims. It's a good thing having an extra measure in place, as it'll mean supercar rental companies will know their vehicles won't be so easily swapped among young middle eastern lads for a wedding.
  14. Been a couple years since the last brake fluid change, so thought I'd incorporate braided lines to replace the near 20yr old rubber hoses. New track pads all round were also fitted. Had the Goodridge brake lines for years and years, never fitted as thought the job would be a complete ball ache hence getting it into the garage. All the OE brake flexi hoses came off without bother, nothing seized - unjustified anxiety. Underseal sanded off to reveal barely any corrosion. Pedal feel is noticeably more positive now, on to the pads. Old pads weren't worn out by any means however the entry level Mintex just aren't any good at high temps. The new items at least visually look alot more purposeful. Clutch fluid change also carried out while she was in the air, as surplus fluid.
  15. Did you fit any parts to your Z ๐Ÿ˜
  16. Hoses on the catch can need to go the other way round. So from the PCV valve to the IN on the catch can. There's a baffle filter on the underside of the catch can lid for the outlet port, which you want to plumb to the plenum.
