Haha exactly Dan, NASA is supplying the sand. No body of water has ever been tested to show a curve, should be pretty easy to show otherwise. Science presents a flat plain. Do we think the shape of Cern underground is a flat circle or does it contour to follow earths curves? Do we think the stations around on the land go straight down to link with the LHC or taper as they go down? I doubt it #owngoal

Haha back to work you!! If you watched all of the video and see that the bottom fell below a curve. Then no amount of visual data will present a flat plain. It's refraction which would continue from the waters edge upwards. You can clear see the distortion in the second picture of the boat, this distortion simply continues as the object gets smaller. The mast inst going lower, it's getting smaller as it goes further away. Furthermore the mast at no point appears to tilt away from view as one would expect as it went over the curve. wow a floating boat, cool.

However is space a vacuum or zero pressure? All makes sense however we are told the ship goes over the curve, ie where is this evidence? The video I linked clearly demonstrates otherwise. Where is the proof? Yes I know it's meant to it's what we are told, but in the real world this isn't visible or testable. If you've ever looked into rear axle bending, you have to physically over end the mental to get it to the desired geometry. It's what folks use to do to get around the factory toe in. I'd need to know the measurements for the bridge above sea level at the ends and middle to even entertain why the towers are further apart at the top than the bottom. However at a glance, If the actual hight of the road is higher in the middle than the ends, it's would make sense for the towers to lean back helping to maintain the desired elevation.

Musk states basically nothing changed to the roadster prior to sending it in space. What are the seats made from? Basically metal frame, recycled materials, foam, leather and fabric to clip/join to the frame. What do you think would happen to foam in the vacuum of space? Foam has what inside of it, air. Think about it what you are seeing, the seats still look plump and unchanged. I personally think it's insulting and a shame.

A ship won't sail on in view forever and it's hard to initially tell if it's gone out of view due to the curve OR due to refraction distorting the image from sea level up. Logic would suggest on a clear day, how a ship sails out of view is the same ie its either due to the curve or it isn't.

From Google. Give the flat earth society a wide birth, look around yourself. What I mean is folks agendas can come into play. Thanx for the info. To sum up, from '09 to '10 the look of the planet changes considerably for its conditions. Then from '14 to '16, it's almost identical? Does that make complete sense to you? Either it's changes or it doesn't, logically it cant do both........ Maybe it's like what stars you can see from LEO, some years you see none only deep black and others years you see stars ALL the time? Again NASA presents both cases, logically bit can't be both........

No where in the video has that been said. What they are saying, they can only fly in low earth orbit. Not want to, can only. Plus check out varying descriptions about seeing stars from space. I like that long pause at 20 secs in lol

What do we make of NASA stating we can't at present go beyond low earth orbit? So many clips of scientists saying we had the technology and the records/ telemetry of how we did it but we lost it or don't have computers to display it now......... Flat earth aside.......

Tbf on a N/A 5bhp here, 10bhp, 12bhp there from bolt on's all add up and complement each other. Back in the day with my little Almera GTi SR20DE, filter, custom header, decat, exhaust, cams, afpr and pulleys all helped towards the overall 53hp over standard.

I believe evidence is subjective. I know lack of evidence is a major blocker for people with most regards, and yet not everything in existence can be scientifically proven. Dark matter isnt seen, or heard, or measurable, can't be replicated, tested, understood or worked out but most physicist believe it to be real without any evidence.

I wouldn't normally start a pics thread for local meet, but the numbers were nothing short of amazing!!! Could have easily picked up us lot any placed us at any car show. Cheers Jay, and no I didn't lol I understand about a bold claim lacking evidence or peer review and the correct means to post. But we live in a world with cell phone footage being used in the media ie straight to news or social media. Planes flying into buildings all footage was from mobile phone with 240p resolution. My point is weather a video of a shop raid is posted by the BBC or Bob of FB, if it's the same footage it very well could be truth. Bob was the eye witness and all his FB friends saw it 6hrs before the 6 o clock news and 14hrs before the papers. Peer review and robust checks in the above case would have nothing to do with weather or not the footage was fake or not. Noam Chomsky I like

For me I think that's my problem, these 8mins videos appeal to simple minded folks like me I guess and are about a technical as 5+5 = 10. I asked a straight forward question, 100% not being funny or smart - which part of the video is fake news? ie they never died a couple minutes after launch? or the people shown currently today are diffenret people which look similar and some with the same/similar names? and I get back answers about religion and CGI.......
