  1. Yesterday found time to finish off the late spring clean. You know you're loosing it when you wash a car after 3 days and 6 miles worth of driving. Bilt Hamber Auto Foam 10:1 Hose rinse Two bucket wash with Megs Ult Shampoo Hose rinse Dodo Juice drying towel Autoglym SRP *2 layers aggregate. Soft99 Kiwami wax Went with Kiwami as I just love the stuff, so so easy to use and protection from this sealant is truly awesome. Apply to panel in traditional circular motion, finishing in straight lines. Grab your soft mf towel and buff immediately - done move on. Easy on, easy off. On the next wash before the Mids Meets, il dress the plastics, rubbers, slick the tyres and she's good. *beading shot taken from DW review.
  2. Also tested how quick the water sheeted after application from the panel..... TBF I know its easy to slat turtle wax products, I personally don't know why as a company like this tomorrow could throw millions at a product line and you better believe it could be a winner with that much R&D. Dodo Juice Future Armour Autoglym Rapid Aqua Wax Angelwax Blue Rinse Bilt Hamber auto-qd All of the above premium products tested state, can be used as a 'wax it wet' or drying aid......
  3. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/accessories-tyres/90880/best-car-wash-wax-sprays-2018 Doubt you'd be troubled by purchasing any of the top contenders.
  4. Also alot easier to work with wet, as results in less shards.
  5. No worries Sim, I still fancy a passenger ride in your lovely 370z at the next one
  6. Cheers Justin for the heads up, is it for mods or maintenance?
  7. Haha nice one matey, @Wendy & @CLASSIX won't be there so the rest of us do drive sensibly
  8. LUNCH booking made with Toby Carvery Stonebridge Island, 5 mins down the road from the meet location and loads of parking. Food is always bang on from here and NO waiting around as its a Carvery, from there we'll look to head out to our destination Time: 12noon nom nom
  9. Not to worries Nick, its walking distance for you - so pop along IF you can Boosted 370z are always welcome!!
  10. Needs taking back to the garage that replaced the arms fella
  11. Also a car form the owners club in most case will have a documented build thread and will be a known car which will have seen at meets/shows multiple times a year. MOT history online is also a decent gauge of how a vehicle is looked after. IE failing on stuff like brake and tyre wear, is a clear indication that the owner doesn't hardly look round the vehicle and keep up on maintenance.
  12. Manufactures state that to safeguard themselves I think, probably something drawn up 400yrs ago and never amended just like braking distances in the highway code LOL
  13. NOTICE: Hi all, please try and update list with +1's when can guys 1) davey_83 +1 2) Brummiestormer 3) cob1980 4) Justthejedi 5) pintopete58 6) nissanman312 7) Matt V6Z 8) Matt jb88 9) Bhupz350 10) ToM (maybe) 11) Maggz +1
  14. Morning fella, fab news il add you both to the list - If all goes well, it'll be a lovely drive out
  15. Manufacturer states 1000 miles can see 1litre usage.
  16. That's it, however thinking out loud the thicker oil on cold start up will create more pressure thus greater blowby and take longer to reach the valve train......
  17. Wow, never knew facelift door cards had different swtich trim. Every day's a school day.
  18. I'd stick with the 5w40 and fit a catch can.
  19. How is it the 350z has different window switches? Found these two on eBay and instantly thought huh?....
  20. As an upgrade, folks fit the later facelift steering wheel/switches as the trim pieces are without writing. For example if you were to wrap the trims on the early steering wheel, you'd loose the info about what each button does. On the later cars, the info is on the buttons themselves.
  21. Switching to 10w40 will be no thicker than 5w40 once up to temperature? I've recently switched from 5w30 to 5w40, and noticed smoother idle and a tad more psi also.
  22. Everyone coming along be sure to have to have enough fuel, or at least fuel money. Planned trip out is 1hrs drive to destination heading northbound, No Motorways - won't be one to miss!! 1) davey_83 2) Brummiestormer 3) cob1980 4) Justthejedi 5) pintopete58 6) nissanman312 7) Matt V6Z 8) Matt jb88 9) Bhupz350 10) ToM (maybe)
