Cheers Martin, with the wish of free time I'd do it for nothing. Absolutely love car detailing!!! Happily do it all day long haha. My 350z has always been clean, but after its first MOT with me I treated her to an enhancement clean. OE rear with new front for reference.....

But now I have to clean the wheel barrels every time and dry the alloys huff. Few more pictures taken locally the other morning.

HR Owen Specialist Cars of Cheltenham Meet - 25th August
davey_83 replied to Nso93's topic in Local Meets Across The UK
I understand why you've been asked to park in a busy retail park. I'd be asking Barclays Bank over the road to use their parking as it'll be quiet midday on a Saturday, with much less chance of damage from retail park shoppers - just my opinion. -

Fabulous work getting a club meet at such a place, however I wouldn't attend any car meet with retail park parking. -
Looks fab!! what tyre size did you go for?

One of my all time favourite tracks, would love to one day do this and Imola. Car looking well, what gear and speeds were you doing along the top straight? For the money, nothing come close to the Zed as an overall driving package. -
Great video and shows just how much Nissan put into the Z33 all those years ago

Could be an intermittent problem, or stuck open or stuck closed or partially. Give it a real good clean with carb cleaner.

Daytona Tamworth Go Karting - Sunday 15th July
davey_83 replied to davey_83's topic in Local Meets Across The UK
Results!! Well if you ever wanted to know just how bad you are at Karting, this would have been the time to go. Now I'm fairly decent in a kart but some of the guys that went, #nextlevel #racelicense Kush Maini and his boys locked out the top 5 places for the grid formation, our lot knew we were screwed -
The pcv valve side, yep drivers.

Yeah looks pretty oily, but we've all seen worst. That centre plate held down by x6 10mm's covers a well that maybe full of oil from the high vac side of the oil breather system. I'd be looking to clean that out for sure while the upper plenums off.

Cheers everyone!! I was worried the driver might be adversely affected, which it is but not massively for everyday driving. Can feel the extra weight at the corners, but the wider tyres are worried much less by small cracks and pot holes in the road which is good. 50-60 miles re torque lug nuts to 70lb-ft, check and adjust tyre pressures and i'm good.

As luck would have it, having a bottle of CC Revolt was just the ticket as the RAYS needed to be super clean and put away till winter - making way for a new set of rims. Every car I've owned I've always changed the wheels to help put my own little stamp on it, we all like to tinker. Owned my 350z for almost 3yrs, it's bugged me not to do the same. The option 18' RAYS are such a great wheel and I struggled to choose a set i felt would look nice in my eyes. eBay favourite 5x114.3 - 18' & 19' used for what seemed like forever, was showing nothing to my liking. One of my all time favourite wheels are the R34 GTR magnesium forged alloys. But seemingly have missed the boat for these as they go for silly money now, due to how rare they are. When Andy stuck up a FS thread for his old wheels, I couldn't see a reason not to drive down and pick them up. His 350z is super clean and the wheels were as you'd expect coming off a show car. With only doing a few thousand miles a year, there no better car to buy wheels from. New hardware applied: Tarmacsportz Neo lug nuts, flush centre caps and 66.1 sprigot rings. RAYS cleaned and put away. New wheels to take their place. VarrsToen ES2 *hyper silver 19x9.5 et12 - 255/35 R19 19x10.5 et12 - 275/35 R19 Absolutely chuffed with them and the wait was well worth it. Although initially I didn't want to get this style wheel, as its pretty much the default JDM choice...... Arguably the most copied aftermarket wheel design of recent times and it's easy to see why. Obviously the RAYS TE37's are the daddies, with numerous companies copying *Rota, Bola, Wolface, Calibre, JapanRacing. Of the lot, VarrsToen for me made the best looking.

Yep and everyone with a sports car buys the very best tyres for extreme road use.
