  1. Car looks great with the tints all round!! Headlamps made a huge difference.
  2. My 05' 350z has similar tendencies for 2nd gear when cold, fitting a weighted knob and extender really helped - plus looks nice.
  3. 99' Nissan Almera GTi from a few years ago.
  4. Tomei oil cap is pretty nice
  5. Car looks fresh in the RAYS wherls. Dude!! I'd have fully $hit myself on the motorway - good save pal. Surely somewhere local could have carried out the P3 service on the 350z....... Happy New Year Glen
  6. Looks good. Taking them apart is one thing, re assembling water tight is another.
  7. Swap the coil pack to another cylinder and see if the fault follows.
  8. @Jack94 did you ever get to the bottom of this pal?
  9. Today the quiet drive to and from work was bliss. Will have to try and pop down in the new year for a run out with your lot.
  10. Yes but no. The throttle butterfly itself causes a restriction even at wide open throttle, so a larger throttle body can help offset the restriction. Allowing for more air to pass either side of the butterfly, aside from the slightly larger TB itself.
  11. Prior to coming across the airbag ECU reset process online this week, borrowed the Carista plug in from our brother and installed the Torque Lite app. Had a little play on the way to work this morning. Had the car over 3yrs and never did a timed 0-60mph run, as using a stop watch or similar reaction times wouldn't make the findings fair. Helps massively not having to go into 3rd gear, steady launch and only one gear change to think about. Easy 0.2 or more still to be had with warmer temperatures.
  12. Those sensors can be mapped out during the UpRev tune. Those sensors with the HFC maybe out of scope to what the factory parameters are expecting to see post cats.
  13. Did the above reset today and it worked a treat. Brought the passenger seat all the way forward to fit a rear dash cam and the connector under seat didn't like it.
  14. Tar fellas, no not really. Can't stand a dirty car, even the beater I won't allow to get too mucky. Just maintenance stuff. Routine service end of Feb/March (Inc gearbox & diff oil, brake fluid change) wants front tyres around the same time, wheel alignment soon after, front discs and pads, rear ARB bushes - nowt exciting.
  15. Ideally needed to have msg the forum during the VOR. After the event and with no written agreement of what was expected, timeframe and for exactly how much you won't get anywhere and if you did it's purely goodwill to which they've already said they won't contribute. Move on would be mine and others advise as shown above.
  16. autosmart tardis or autoglym tar & glue remover
  17. I bet in real life it makes the arches appear even wider!! Looks epic pal.
  18. Hmmm Brian Cowler porn!!!! That's a healthy bump in comp. Should yeld strong gains arcoss the rev range
  19. Sorry to hear of your drama's. Earlier this year I had an independent garage fit a new slave cylinder, braided line and high temp fluid. All new parts I had supplied and after a longer than normal period the clutch pedal was at the point whereby I could drive home. That evening I went to go fill the tank (some 6 hours after the install) ready for a road trip the next day with several lads, that I had arranged. Started up the engine and couldn't get any gears, great!! Ended up having to leave the car on the driver and hop in with the brother in law. Had been planning the trip for weeks and weeks so wasn't best pleased. Once back I made the decision to repair the vehicle myself. My little brother was gutted also as it was a garage that he would normally use with no issues and the labour costs was at mates rates. My brother offered to go back and have a word, but I thought leave it. The mechanic is trusted and tried his best at the time to carry out the install, but ultimately I tried to get a cheap job done and you therefore run the risk of errors with little come back. Lesson learnt, sometimes buy cheap pay twice or more. On reflection I think what happen was for a reason, the conditions for Mid/North Wales in April were shocking, I would have been leading the convoy as I often do and very possibly could have crashed not allowing for the conditions and seriously injured myself and/or others.
  20. Couple of lovely beading shots from her winter coat *Soft99 Kiwami sealant. Won't be getting much use over the winter, salt grit and Japanese metal don't mix.
  21. Cheers fella - both DE and HR, types in most colours. @zippypooz is your man
