  3. That set up looks real nice fella, question is what's next? Do you have a build thread? Yeah the wrap is to keep the heat in helping the cat and hotter gases travel faster. Hopefully should lower the transmission tunnel warm also as after sprinted drive it's rather toasty. Plus it's looks sick as f**k!!!
  4. I've come across this also and in people generally, what folks have done to you they'll do to more unsuspecting motorists before long so I try not to take it personally. I've found of late people generally can be more agitated and short with one another and this in my thinking is due to extra stress we all are taking on from things like social media and news outlets showing more and more negativity which our subconscious soaks up unknowingly. When people give other people $hit, they're not happy in their life at the moment as it doesn't make sense for a happy fulfilled individual to go round being horrible. Dr. Bruce Lipton study and understand of the above is very interesting.
  5. Not had the emissions checked, but I'm hoping the ceramic coating & heat wrap will help the HFC to do it's thing. Yeah it's the one from you David. Pictures of your new set up please fella

Fresh eyes over ol' girl and she passed without any advisories, I even asked the tester afterwards anything to keep an eye on for next year? Said 'nothing' and joked just tyres and brakes lol After a very proud drive home, with the wife at work and kids at their favourite auntie - I set about treating the her We know what this means...... 14. That's good to know, the newer retailer to consumer process from my understanding is still the similar even after the manufacturers warranty period. Contact retailer, if need be submit independent report (in this case to prove the fault was present at the time of purchase) to request replacement, refund or repair. It's a shame fall out over hopefully a relatively small fix and a shame Iain has the hassle of remedying the faulty part himself. Clearly the fault was present at the time of purchase. Ultimately if this threads helps others in similar situations then it's no bad thing.
  15. For sale a pair of arguably one of the very best UHP road tyres available. Continental SportContact 6 265/35 R19 XL FR (98Y) *with rim protector Condition: New *10/10 Reason for sale: Surplus to requirements, as decided against a square set up. Price: £290 collected for the pair BARGAIN as these retail around £200+ each. Sheldon B33 in the West Midlands, very near the NEC.
  16. The Sale of Goods Act offers protection against faulty goods even when the manufacturer's guarantee has run out. The act says goods must last a reasonable time - and that can be anything up to six years from the date of purchase. 1. Contact the retailer 2. Get an independent report 3. Commission a repair: Ask the retailer to repair or replace the goods. If the repair cost is disproportionate the retailer can offer a refund of the original purchase price, though probably not a full refund. If the shop makes life difficult you can ask go to an independent repairer and reclaim the whole cost. Make sure they provide evidence of the fault. https://www.theguardian.com/money/2006/mar/25/consumernews.howtocomplain Faulty goods replaced or repaired You have the right to get faulty goods replaced or repaired if it's too late to reject them. You can state your preference, but the retailer can normally choose to do whatever would be cheapest. Under the Sale of Goods Act, the retailer must either repair or replace faulty goods 'within a reasonable time but without causing significant inconvenience'. If the seller doesn't do this, you're entitled to claim either: • a reduction on the purchase price, or • your money back, minus an amount for the usage you've had of the goods (called recision). If the retailer refuses to repair the goods, and won't replace them either, you may have the right to arrange for someone else to repair your item, and then claim compensation from the retailer for the cost of doing this. You have six years to take a claim to court for faulty goods in England, Wales and Northern Ireland; in Scotland you have five years.
  17. Looks real nice that, when the time comes I think I would opt for a 265/35 rear tyre to add a tiny bit of stretch as seen up front.
  18. I'm not entirely sure, but hopefully someone will be along thats had a similar experience with resolve.
