What you should have paid is the least amount the seller was willing to accept. Either way you've bought it now so time to enjoy Welkom

Yep lesson learnt, progress and car looking good. Good mate the weekend complete a head gasket replacement on his Cooper S. Then got couple hoses mixed up for the supercharger and had the unit off again eek.

4th year of ownership this week and still makes me excited at the thought of driving her, even more so now as I've made it my own from humble beginnings. Still blown away and feel lucky to own such a motor. Often (if it get out the front door early enough) take the long route to work effectively doubling the commute distance, just to drive it more. Definitely one of those cars that begs a turn round when walking away and excitement on approach after a day at work. Ownership remains wonderful and a little treat every time you fire up the big VQ. Its a satisfying feeling the car exceeds my level of skills on the road/track, so speed wise I'm very comfortable with what's under the hood. Thoroughly enjoy maintaining and modifying. Really enjoy the club meets and show gatherings, plus the forum is truly a great place to spend time. I never knew you did the wrap yourselves!!! Blown away as it looked fully sick! Matching brands front and back was a smart move, plus it looks more pleasing to the eye You've learnt so much about body work prep and finish and it's clear to see. -
Which spring did you order, did you go for the Mustang one?
-
Wow that's mega Justin, nooooo way do I have any hope of keeping up with you on an sprinted drive now!!! Bet the drive home was fun
-
Stiffer.... I'd like mine lighter

Other than insurance and tax, which can be the biggest expense with running a second car/beater. Edit - do you have your Leon on a multicar policy with the Nismo or stand alone and how do you utilise your NCB?
-
Not a fan, next to a gorgeous F type this looks a dogs dinner imo.

Rich @ RPM is recommended also @RichRPM

What I find helpful is when a garage can quote for the repair, providing all goes well - then naturally go from there.
-
I had reserved judgement till I saw it and love it, loose the Qashqai wheels in favour for some nice concave aftermarket ones and it'll make the car imo. Plus 12 sec 1/4 mile isn't too bad either.
-
In the flesh, they're stunning imo. Saw a pair at C&M on Sunday and wow, I'd love one one day - not slow either.

Might aswell buy new for that money @Katieallen

Midlands Meet - Sunday 1st September

I know, saw you pull in then of course in convoy in my rear view - then that was it huff Sadly not, checked my dashcam and I had a poxy 16gb card in there which is no good to man nor beast. Have on video half the journey there and all back only. I reckon next time back to C&M possibly for a drink on a Thurs/Fri evening might be nice. All meet there, as its done up nice after hours say 7/8pm.
