A dual action polisher won't create heat as it's not in the same spot continuous. Wet & dry is the harshest form of correction for lacquered finish.

Just wrap it, from experience it's a great remedy. Just make sure the finish is exactly how you want it prior If you're desperate to use C4, coat the wrap if need be. I've done a few years back and it's looks day one fresh!

My tip would be to do the underside of the bonnet afterwards, as it save drips down your neck.

I personally wouldn't worry too much about a vehicle health check, arguably this should have been done prior to purchase IF it's a concern. The vehicles annual MOT is a vehicle health check in itself is, this was carried out mid Feb so fairly recently. A great list of additional common issue items have been flagged above and some are things that can be checked yourself, ie oil pressure, exhaust blow, brakes and tyre wear. The 350z isn't a sophisticated vehicle thankfully and every concerns is shown on YouTube for us DIY'ers Ello n welkom

Bingo, with a new battery. The wife's Nissan Note a few weeks back needed a new battery, so the Sunny stepped up and became a donor for a while. That's sure keeping you busy pal with oil changes and cleaning.

As an onlooker, concern I will always have is considering the views and opinions of those that have no first hand experience towards a matter, compared to those that have.

The supposed dangers surrounding 5G have been about for years. If the amateur videos going around with hand held radiation detectors are real, it's worrying what they show.

Most supermarkets aren't open and the ones that are have massive queues, you are expected to walk to go food shopping unless you're a key worker or whatever their version is. Hearing from someone that lives there, you can't even been seen going for a walk with an adult from the same household. These folks did and neighbours reported to the authorities. You can buy what you need, however are limited to what you can carry by yourself. It very much pays to have bulk items already at home rather than carrying.

In a Spain style lockdown (was/is still a possibility), those items are very much worth stocking up on.

Possibly before your ownership these were wet sanded right down and polished up, or even multiple times thus weakening the plastic.

Yeah I'm the same it's not in me to let the 350z get mucky, to be fair the Sunny has a good life but that engine bay, well it was a job I enjoyed thoroughly!! Drive must be a state underneath mind. It's pretty tidy and a lockdown hero, everyone just thinks it's grandad out for meds

It only took an international pandemic to prompt this one. First engine bay clean in 28yrs, the grime was immense. Came up well for an old girl. Even drafted in a pair of little princesses to help out. An assortment of brushes, Bilt Hamber Autofoam, Carchem Revolt, ACF50 & Autobrite trim dressing. All the way through thinking, I really hope this starts as I covered nothing. On to the pictures, the task was a enthusiast car detailers dream Can anyone spot the mechanical change?...... Before.... After....
