  1. Yeah its pretty scary footage, we have a porch on the front so parcels are left there and everyone operates a no signature policy so items are left there and brought in soon after.
  2. Finger in the air, I'd say coolant temperature sensor. If the ECU believes the engine to still be cold when it's actually warmed up, it'll over fuel causing the symptoms you describe.
  3. Cheers pal, yeah for a daily she's very clean underneath thankfully. Totally not sure what affect an exhaust leak would have on drone, pretty sure you'd hear the leak even on idle to know what's what. I've read the same about it speeding up the corrosion of the metal. I've wrapped headers before and never had an issue as it's always been with good quality stainless or mild steel. My thinking for wrapping the de cats and y pipe was it looks BOSS!! keeps the heat out if the cabin, OE cats with their heat shields made the transmission tunnel fairly warm after a long journey. Performance, in theory keeping the exhaust gases hotter speeds up the flow and hotter gases should also help the HFC do it job also. Win, win, win win.
  4. What did the exhaust sound like prior to fitting the HFC's? Ive had the Toyosport system paired with both OE cats and Motordyne ART pipes, with zero drone at any given rpm.
  5. I have this kit and you'll use every bit of this and it's all good stuff https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gtechniq-Essential-Maintenance-Kit-paint/dp/B078N5CTQH Or found locally the below kit from Auto Finesse is very good too from Halfords This ValetPro kit looks very good also https://www.valetpro.global/Additional-Products/Kits-and-Gift-Packs/1277-/Exterior-Car-Care-Kit Once you've used a product and get on with, it makes sense to then buy the larger containers as this is more cost effective over the long-term. Large containers I have are; ValetPro Bilberry wheel cleaner 5ltrs ValetPro Citrus Pre wash 5ltrs Bilt Hamber Autofoam 5ltrs Autoglym tyre dressing 5ltrs Turtlewax Big Orange car shampoo 5ltrs Autosmart TFR 5ltrs
  6. Most important is correct wash technique, as there's no point spending hours or days correcting paint just to put the damage right back in. A read of the below link is very much time well spent. Edit - posted at the same time, the above is an EPIC guide https://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=27
  7. Over the years I've had OE, Cosworth, Green Cotton, PiperCross and would recommend a foam filter. Very well made, hard wearing and reusable after a thorough wash/air dry. None of which give the sound of a large cone filter however which in itself is worth the purchase alone.
  8. Looks really well balanced now!! Great photo angles too pal

  10. Looks immense, very American. Super camera work too as per
  11. And turn the crank by hand a few rotations will move the oil around prior to let cranking. Did this on previous engines after replacing cams and you can see the oil getting up to the head, slowly but it does get there.
  12. Cheers pal. Popped into work today and had to pull over for a quick picture, roads were nice and quiet. Been nearly two weeks since driving the ol' girl and didn't want to turn in. Good to blow the cobwebs out and put some heat through her.
  13. Looking fresh, be ready for the mirror floor next

A customer reply from Continental for example several years back re the MO Prem Contact 2's
  16. You can see the difference the mild wet sand did to the clarity. Green being wet sanded and blue not, blue resembles the early F40 paintwork look and green being the later F40 I better stop looking or it'll all be getting done......
  17. Yeah, I may have to wet sand the passenger side now too
  18. Fitted the carbon mirror cap however the forecast said rain that night, so opted to cover the unit. Couple mornings later took the bag and masking tape off, hit with quick detailer and she's whole again.
  19. Cheers pal, bit of anxiety floating about as experience helps when stuff goes wrong but myself would be reliant on lady lucky to help me through. So much patience is need for bodywork and prep prep prep. Another go over once on the car and not moving about plus il hit the passenger side with the machine polisher, IPA then coat with gtechniq C4.
