  5. Popping over to Caffeine and Machine tomorrow evening, so had a good excuse for a quick wash and wax. Also to try out my new stubby lance, lovely addition and way more control over the jet. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/292333253557 My new go to spray sealant
  6. Yes fella 05 DE, I bought mine new from a member some years back on the forum. Link below to the same one showing for 03-06 350z, I've also made a short video of the install. Would recommend to any DE owner, marked difference to the engine pick up. https://www.ebay.com/itm/VMS-Racing-Light-Weight-Aluminum-Crankshaft-Crank-Pulley-03-06-FOR-Nissan-350Z/311890702730?pageci=ff144ab8-2d14-49db-9a00-4f69aed47f8f&epid=17002480689

  11. This works, just tried it after knocking my key out being silly
  12. Lovely addition, should spice things up nicely
  13. My understanding is the only de cat/hfs that don't rasp, are the Motordyne ART pipes
  14. VMS Racing bought new in box from a member on here some years back, this is a link to the same one. Very well made and even has the ever so slight recess to mirror the factory pulley, which I've noticed others dont Unorthodox/Z1. https://www.ebay.com/itm/VMS-Racing-Light-Weight-Aluminum-Crankshaft-Crank-Pulley-03-06-FOR-Nissan-350Z/311890702730?pageci=f67b9aed-1004-4c53-b477-581d065b082d&epid=17002480689
  15. For my old GTi had a XTD flywheel from the US, still have the OE one on my 350z.
  16. I know what you mean. I had a lightweight crank pulley on my Almera GTi along with lightened flywheel for years and never had an issue. You of course hear about what can happen when removing the OE dampened steel pulley, however I very much doubt the SR20DE was engineered better than the VQ35DE. Inherently a V6 better balanced internally than a in line 4 too. No negatives so far, only driven it once for a couple hours - wished I had fitted it sooner but it's on now. That really cool, It's nice to see. Above modded cars and even cleaning cars that's my no.1 interest so can appreciate that.
  17. Nice side by side video, shows the difference straight away. Liking your other much earlier uploads too, all praise to Yeshua.
  18. Did it all from up top, but ideally it needs to be done from underneath with the undertray off mainly for the tensioner adjusters. Takes an hour on the drive, I've shot a video that I'll hash together at some point. I still have a dual mass flywheel, which will help absorb the rotational harmonics. Engine cover off Slacken both tensioners 14mm Undertray off Slacken both tensioner adjusters 12mm Remove both aux belts Put the box in 6th, hand brake on, wedge the brake pedal down, crack the 19mm crank pulley bolt loose and remove. Wobble the crank pulley loose. Fit the new sexy lightweight pulley *little bit of anti seize grease Tighten the 19mm which will bring the pulley down square. Torque to spec, 30lb-ft then 60° *I did 160mn Refit aux belts Rotate pulley by hand to check belt alignment and check for binding. Refit undertray and engine cover. 2/5 difficulty
  19. Cheers pal, getting the spanners out on your own car is all part of the joy. In my excitement went out for a drive last night and the difference was felt straight away. Watching out for the placebo effect, I weren't expecting alot. Rolling on/off the throttle feels more fluid if that makes sense. I guess that touch easier now asking the big VQ to go from declaration to acceleration. Revs out quicker and so pulls just that touch harder. When pulling away normally, now feels smoother on take-up *always personally struggled with this. Even part throttle feels keen to build rpm. I would say it's made more of a difference to acceleration than any individual engine/exhaust mod thus far.
  20. Fitted a lightweight crank pulley, tackled the job from up top. Definitely possible but unless you have skinny long fingers like me, set aside the time to take of the engine undertray to do it properly. 1kg vs 2.8kg Turned over twice by hand to check for binding, alignment looks good All tucked away hidden
  21. Looks real special, very smart!! How have you found tyre wear on the rear being this low?
  22. Fresh look for 2020 Lovely pictures from DA
