Nice side by side video, shows the difference straight away. Liking your other much earlier uploads too, all praise to Yeshua.

Did it all from up top, but ideally it needs to be done from underneath with the undertray off mainly for the tensioner adjusters. Takes an hour on the drive, I've shot a video that I'll hash together at some point. I still have a dual mass flywheel, which will help absorb the rotational harmonics. Engine cover off Slacken both tensioners 14mm Undertray off Slacken both tensioner adjusters 12mm Remove both aux belts Put the box in 6th, hand brake on, wedge the brake pedal down, crack the 19mm crank pulley bolt loose and remove. Wobble the crank pulley loose. Fit the new sexy lightweight pulley *little bit of anti seize grease Tighten the 19mm which will bring the pulley down square. Torque to spec, 30lb-ft then 60° *I did 160mn Refit aux belts Rotate pulley by hand to check belt alignment and check for binding. Refit undertray and engine cover. 2/5 difficulty

Cheers pal, getting the spanners out on your own car is all part of the joy. In my excitement went out for a drive last night and the difference was felt straight away. Watching out for the placebo effect, I weren't expecting alot. Rolling on/off the throttle feels more fluid if that makes sense. I guess that touch easier now asking the big VQ to go from declaration to acceleration. Revs out quicker and so pulls just that touch harder. When pulling away normally, now feels smoother on take-up *always personally struggled with this. Even part throttle feels keen to build rpm. I would say it's made more of a difference to acceleration than any individual engine/exhaust mod thus far.

Fitted a lightweight crank pulley, tackled the job from up top. Definitely possible but unless you have skinny long fingers like me, set aside the time to take of the engine undertray to do it properly. 1kg vs 2.8kg Turned over twice by hand to check for binding, alignment looks good All tucked away hidden

Looks real special, very smart!! How have you found tyre wear on the rear being this low?

Fresh look for 2020 Lovely pictures from DA

I love them too, the 350z is a rounded curvy design. So harder straight lines for me helps balance the looks.

Cheers pal, I was never taken by the Nismo rear spats over the years and was very much in two minds about them along with the rear TS diffuser. Once the self tappers and tiger seal come out there no going back haha. C4 used on my carbon mirror caps and now the front bumper insert. Ideally to help with yellowing due to UV. Several items of carbon fibre later and for me the mix is about right. Ahhh yes Ive used Solution Finish on the Nissan Sunny plastic bumpers, very good stuff indeed. Just have to be careful how it's applied, I found I had to apply in continuous lines left to right, whereas with C4 you can get away looks wise with changing direction mid panel. Whereas SF needed contain levelling out prior to bonding to the surface.

Bang average in who's eyes? Clarkson slated the 350z in the days, VBH rated it highly. Point being enthusiast should buy what they like, not what motoring jurnos or youtubers tell them to like.

Few more pictures kindly sent me from the recent meet, always nice seeing your car thru the lens of another. Thank you @370z_fairladyz

Stunning company, no doubt a fab that you all must have had.

Story is the same in the major markets.....

Fact is no Japanese sports cars out sell their European rivals, Nissan Toyota are not sports car manufacturers like Porsche and don't need to rely solely on sport car sales. It's no secret that Porsche rely heavily on Cayenne sales to prop up the rest of the range. If you understand the above to be correct, then your concerns aren't nothing to worry over.

Dan you are on a Z forum you know........ No one on here bought a zed due to it being the best car in its class on paper? Or because it has great resell. A Z is a corner stone of the modding scene, a Z3/4 or Cayman certainly aren't. At the recent successful mids meet, every single Z there was different and all modified. Maybe this is the appeal over its competitors to potential owners. Back in the day, the Z4, TT and Cayman sounded rubbish compared to a VQ and look like girls cars - subjective I know but hey we're on a Zee forum right. Just because something doesn't out sell its competitors, isn't a barometer to whether its a good car or not. Nissan doesn't just build cars to be a success in the UK, other markets as mentioned above play there part in weather something is economically viable.

You mean like 911's.......

I saw a build sheet for a mk7 Golf GTi *basic spec which was 10k less than RRP. Fair to say VW are able to build cars a lot cheaper than Nissan due to the massively shared platform of the Golf, compared to what will be the Z35. If RRP is to be 35k for the new base Z car, I would guess the cost to build and ship to a dealer would be nearer 28k. So yes, poor maths guessing 10k lol

Have you ever actually seen a cost price for a new vehicle?

Saw this at the Midlands Z meet just gone, noisy as hell!!!

Rarely do i get to see my car through the lens of a camera other than my own, thanks to @cob1980 for the below pictures from last night's mini meet Proper nice low light captures thank you

Very classy!!! Can tell lots of work gone into this

Sounds bonkers too, been out in it before and even up to 3k feels like it's idling ready to let rip. I moves like a 350z with another one pushing it from behind, guess that makes sense as it's double VQ35 hp @Charlie Boy motor
