Absolutely Mr Veilside. It could look something like this when I've finished!
-
Oh and yes I know my car is needing a very good clean... The shininess of this is kicking me into action!
-
I must say I'm loving it now I've got this fitted. Thanks again to Mr Moped for such a class service!

Well mine looks a little better under the hood now I've got one of your nickel catches and a polished plenum on there, but this is just simply amazing Mark. So much time and effort must have gone into it to get to where you are now, truly fantastic work mate! -
I knew I bought that torque wrench for a higher purpose in life than fixing the shower pump. Thank you Saint. Z-bling! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Hey Wasso are you doing any more of these? -
I think I'm on for one of these to please Mark. Looks awesome.

They do look nice jujun, I wish Rays would hurry up with answering my questions! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Yeah Jez at HDev said they are fine as long as you get them hot before you test. Just wondered about the other Torqen have on the website add there is quite an array.
-
Hey Mark would love one of these too please. They look great.

Plenty in stock if you want new, Motordyne Once you fitted everything, including the HFC, go to Jez@Horsham to have your UpRev done and disable the O2 sensors so you don't get any engine management light on but also improve the power a little bit. Which of the HFCs will pass the MOT exhaust tests? Is it all or a smaller list from those that you have on the website Adrian? Thinking for my 04 DE, but need to make sure it passes its next MOT.

Thanks RT and so that was 30mm with 18s - 9.5/10.5? Think I'm gonna need to do some photoshopping on my car and have a good think on it, but they do look nice against the slightly lighter blue in the picture.. I just couldn't visualise it first off. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

hmm maybe I'm liking the colour more.......
-
Well yes that probably woud be a good idea, but how low would be right for a good look and then what would that mean for where I live, which is speed bump central? Is it going to mean turtle speed on the bumps? I'm just not sure... you think?
-
Right so the mighty Rays Jpn have come back to say that they are a 3 month lead time and that if I go 9.5 / 10.5 then I can only do this in bronze as its the only colour that they do the 10.5 in. Such a selection of colours! As I have an Azure 350 I'm not sure sure I like this look, so either I'll have to go thinner to get the colour or start looking again. On the wheel sizes they have these: Which would mean it would have to be 8.5 / 9.5 if I did get them but what do you guys think? Is that really too skinny - just thinking about what Grundy said previously?

Also for anyone interested Mitz kindly pointed me to this to understand inset and outset! http://www.ggmfg.com/Products/WheelHubAssemblies/DefinitionofInsetOutset.aspx

Lovely look to them by the way husky! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Ok so that answer the inset to offset thing - hooray to BobbyZ. @Jetpilot I think I have the Brake clearance covered as there are sysmbols that mean 'will clear brakes' on the catclogue, so I'll just look at the ones that say Z33 cleared. but as for the disti, I spoke to Co-ordsport who are the master disti and what I got back wasn't very useful, they just said pick ones that fit! I was a bit surprised at that, but will give them one more try.

Thanks for all the input guys, so really I should probably look at wider wheels and then work out the offset to go for based on that. Dies anyone know how to work out what the offset is equivalent to inset which is what the Rays catalogue gives? This is what I see and I'm finding confusing... http://www.part-box.com/images/rays/vrce28n10i.jpg @Kyle I saw 19s on Google too and some US sites like Vivid racing, but coordsport are the UK master distributor and they are saying up to 18s only available. @Paddy Yes they do look really nice! í ½í±í ½í¸€

Thanks RTbiscuit good advice I'll drop him a PM to see how he had it setup and what wheels. I've PMed Mitz for some advice too. I spoke to Coordsport about these wheels as I thought there was a 19" version, but they are telling me 18" are the largest available.

Hi Everyone, I've finally managed to raid the piggy bank and be able to get some nice new wheels and I'm really in love with these Rays CE28N 10 spokes in Formula Silver with Diamond cut rim. It looks like they are available in a variety of 18 inch configs and I'm trying to get some help with what I should be getting. I have read the Idiots Guide to Wheels and Offset and think I get the general picture, but I'm really struggling with what sort of offset would be right for my zed. I use my car daily for work and so not really looking to lower it, so I'm guessing that the ET 20-25 range is about right? What I'm thinking of is to maybe get a staggered set up of these with say 8.5" fronts and 9.5" rears, does this mean I need different offsets on each? Then bearing that all in mind the Rays catalogues and sizing charts really confuse me as they start talking about Inset rather than offset and now I have no clue on how I should relate that bit and read the Rays charts. The wheels aren't cheap so I don't want to get it wrong at all. Can anyone help me out at least to get a better idea of what I'd need, or how I can work this stuff out? Really appreciate any advice as I'm a bit of a dummy when it comes to this stuff. Cheers!

OK nice one. I have no ramp or stands so probably get someone to do it if I need any. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
