  1. I think I have. I'll definitely get some pics up ASAP! I was surprised by the standard performance too, a proper pocket rocket.
  2. well, I have bitten the bullet, I went to see a pulsar yesterday. It had little history and the mileage is 45k. Obviously, I had to give the car a thorough going over and I have to say it was immaculate. No rust/corrosion/rot, no wear on the pedals, bolsters, steering wheel, carpets. All plastics like new and the interior was really good. Underneath it was incredible, like it had just rolled off the production line. The paintwork was also very good, no scratches dents or strange markings. The engine was also remarkably clean and places where you might expect to see heavy rust didn't have any. The under side of the bonnet was gleaming, paint work was good. Overall a really solid car. I drove it and the clutch was smooth as were the gear changes. No strange knocks from the engine. I spent 1 hour and 40 minutes going over it and checked the Vin number and MOTS. Everything matched up along with the V5. I really couldn't fault it and everything pointed to it being an honest car. I bought it! with 2 sets of wheels with new tyres. I'm going to collect it tomorrow.
  3. They're probably young, dumb and full of cum. Just like us once upon a time. Can't say I have ever drifted on public roads but I have done some pretty stupid things in cars before. The greatest teacher will always be experience. Hopefully not at the cost at someone else's pride and joy though.
  4. if that makes $76, I might just squat, turd and spray it in flip paint myself to make a cool 50 smackers. It's money for old rope... or sh*t as the case may be.
  5. Sounds like a lot of bother and that can get you down when you love your car but they are really small things. I'm sure there is a sticky on here some where about clicking rear axels so why not have a look. Think it's a relatively easy job. Don't chuck in the towel just yet!
  6. My dad has got an 06 E91 330dM. the only thing I know about the two cars ( from him ) is the 335d had more engine and electrical issues than the 330d. This knowledge was acquired through the BMW forum. HTH BTW. My dads is re-mapped. 280 hp with almost 500 ft of torque. I drove it to Kiddiecare in Peterborough and, it really shifts. The quality of the drive is just superb. A far better ride than its predecessor.

I can't abide anyone touching someone else's car inappropriately. Never touch another man's car!
  8. the wonderful world of ebay.I think it's excrement!
  9. if a car is a CATD, and you wanted to sell the car, how much does it affect/effect ( now i'm thinking about my grammar) the price?
  10. Thanks for the reply CM. Makes me feel more confident about it.
  11. so I imagine a BIMTA certificate along with MOTs should be a safe bet? As well as checking for wear on the bolsters, carpets, steering wheel, gear knob etc, shouldn't be severly worn for a car that's only covered 45k.
  12. So, I have come across a Nissan pulsar not far from me. Owner claims it's done around 45k. He has done a BIMTA check which proves it's authenticity and mileage. I've never heard of BIMTA so maybe I should get out more but, is this a credible source in regards to claiming reliable mileage?
  13. A deer will take the chassis away. I can remember my dad once had an accident by crashing into a deer. Needed a new windscreen, bonnet, wing, bumper, radiator. It was almost a write off.

ahh, the good ol'dodge interceptor 5ltr V8 boo... I mean engine.
  15. so what if they are going up or not, it's only worth what someone will give you for it. I'm going to sell my 2005 cat D 350z for £10.000, so prices are definitely going up! just got to wait for some complete cretin to buy it.
  16. if you can stretch it, get berks HFCs with cobra system, the sound is spell-binding (dribbles)
  17. best engine. slap that under your bonnet.
  18. oh I saw this in Banzai, or Japanese perf, looks like an old Datsun with some go faster stripes. Nissan's answer to the GT86.
  19. I've got something similar going on. i'll have to check mine.
  20. personally, I like it just as it is.
  21. they are berks HFCs. not sure if they have spacers or not. I'll have to have a look
  22. I'd buy this excellent in traffic, just scoop and chuck. Get to work in no time. parking could be a bit of a bugger but again, just scoop and chuck.
