  1. when he's walking the rails, I just want a flock of geese to fly low by that'll learn him
  2. Don't take it to heart fella, its was just a bit amusing for some of us, your obviously used to older cars. oh no worries, I can see how that must have been funny. I didn't take it seriously, I like a bit of ribbing as much as the next man
  3. i'd say the problem is the rotor arm.
  4. ah! I take it I have made a boo boo, goes to show how often I lift the bonnet well if it isn't that then i'm sure it's the flux compacitor. if i'm right you can send your thanks via e-mail to : rocksteady@iknoweverythingaboutcars.com
  5. couldn't agree more, go with your guts
  6. wow! glad you're o.k. Looks nasty. Must have been a sobering moment
  7. I know, it does my head in, A horse did it right outside my driveway. Just pisses me off that Horses can be used on the road. we have horses to thank for roads as they were invented for them but yes, highly annoying to have them still on the road in this day and age
  8. Mine does too but only after a run when it's hot. I imagine it's something to do with HT leads or the rotor arm perhaps. Definitely something to do with firing.
  9. We may have to agree to disagree on that one I wouldn't, the 3000gt is 320 hp compared to GTO jap imports that are 270 due to the fact that jap imports had 9B turbos and the brit version 3000 had 13g turbos. It's no slouch and has a similar kerb weight to the supra and would jump up and down on a supra off the line.
  10. True, but then it doesn't matter if you were see sawing down the M1 on a bogey, if you've got crap thinking time, you've got crap thinking time. I think the point is moot. Whether you have discs the size of a wagon wheel and callipers like mini coopers or discs the size of a washer, it all goes back to driver habits, so for those of us who do have a decent thinking cap we can experience the benefit of larger brakes and what not, to avoid drivers who have poor thinking/reaction times and/or skills.
  11. You'll be hard pushed to find a manual supra TT, but if that doesn't bother you there are a few autos kicking about. I think the supra has dated very well. Not sure about how reliable the 2JZ engine is though when push comes to shove but standard i'm sure they're fine.
  12. Not that I know a lot about footy but I always thought that this time round, Brazil has had an easy ride and I was just waiting for them to play a really good team, because I knew that they were mediocre at best and would get a severe bum lashing from the likes of Germany. Never thought it would that embarrassing though. Made it all the more delicious. Mwhahahahaha!
  13. get excited!!! sex n chocolate sex n chocolate, church!
  14. Had it 6 months and done around 1500 miles. As Paul Daniels would say " not a lot, not a lot " Thinking about selling up soon though.
  15. 1700kg, yeah, it's a lot, but it's got 590hp! 1700kg just isn't an issue at that horse power.
  16. Don't try and have a stare out competition with a goldfish..... you'll lose.
  17. I don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel room with it's own waste disposal unit Even a room upgrade at Caesar's palace didn't come with one of those....feel so cheated Plastic or wooden chopsticks?....just out of interest wooden
  18. you get all sorts of problems when changing bore size on a turbo charged car, boost creep, surging, depends on waste gate size, twin entry or not, if they are compatible. All these things can ruin flow or make it better depending on what kind of car you've got. It's a bugger. It's never certain that you'll get an improvement if you go bigger, it can just lead to surge or boost creep.
