  1. my point was it does take some skill to get a decent launch off the line. Not as much skill as you need for track racing for sure. But most roads have some kind of curve, so yes, driving on a circuit has more benefits in reality or everyday driving than dragging your car will have.
  2. Drifting - Where the drivers have the most fun... How often do you manage to test your 0-60 on the motorway? I either test my 0-10 or my 60-70 range on an average drive? Edit: Big Mc in da house!! eh? I was agreeing with Grundy
  3. ^^Kind of true, but what really is true is that life is not just a straight line, most of it is curves. Bar motorways... and dual carriage ways
  4. Controversial. I don't think people of this nature choose to be a paedophile. I can't understand why people do such things just so they can be jeered and made outcasts of society. I can only believe that it is a mental condition that really needs addressing. I don't think a witch hunt is the answer. A bit medieval IMO. I believe in the States, paedophiles are made to knock on the doors of the neighbours and announce who they are and what they are. Perhaps that might be more effective. I'd sure like to know if I were living next door to one, I'd keep a closer eye on my kids that's for sure.
  5. God, this sort of thing just beggars belief. if the parents knew of their child's antics meaning, if this is a common occurrence, you'd think they might have a better handle on the matter. Seems they may have the persuasion of people will understand. Not bloody likely. One day that will happen to the wrong person and that kid will get drop kicked out of McDonalds that no happy meal will put right.
  6. Lovely car, my dad currently has an E90 330dM with a re-map ( its brutal ) E92 325 coupe convertible. Really nice car to drive and a great choice . Hopefully this model of the 335d has less problems than that of the E91 model.
  7. You're right, that's true. think i'll just tidy up the pipes a bit they have been flapping about for a while now. Thanks GIXXER and whacky
  8. e46 has a horrid crashy ride compared to the e90/91 which is better by a country mile.
  9. Well, I have an aftermarket bumper (N-spec) that I bought damaged and repaired it. I sprayed it in two tone. Silver and black. Unfortunately the colour match was the wrong code so I have taken it off to spray it again with the correct colour code. Because this bumper has no spaces for the headlight sprayers, I thought that since they were redundant I might as well take off anything related to them for the time being.
  10. Are these 2 ( I'm assuming water bottles for the headlight sprayers ) anything to do with the rad? if I take them off will my Zed blow up? Thanks in advance
  11. 200 SX as quick as a zed? surely it'd have to be a modded one. I've had an S14 silvia standard and I can't say it was as quick as a zed.
  12. it was 4 wheel alignment to my knowledge.
  13. Hmmm, they're new tyres and both the same. I'll try swapping them around and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for that Ricey.
  14. Not for the zed but for my every day plodder Mk4 golf. I've had many cars as i'm sure many of you have and i'm really anal over the tracking. Just recently I had new tyres on the golf and I put on new drop links too. I had it tracked up with a laser system. The steering wheel sits a little to the right on a straight road. Take my hands off the wheel momentarily and it'll drift left. Is there something wrong here? I mean, I know the camber of the road may make a difference but shouldn't the steering wheel be perfectly straight or not? I also noticed that sometimes just for a moment, as a left hander comes, i'm still steering right a little, just for short while before I have turn left more to make up for the severity of the corner. Any thoughts?
  15. wow! is it really that bad??? different strokes for different folks I guess. I'm not a plumber but I always thought it paid well. I sure hope it does because if you hate your job and it doesn't even pay well, that really is a kick in the head.
  16. Search engine brings up no results in reference to the title of this post. I've seen some smoothed 350s. Just wondered if the rear spoiler is stuck/glued down ( which I doubt ) or is it bolted from underneath?
  17. he should drive that on "R U faster than a red ne.... " oh , he's already finished.
  18. it would've been much better if she couldn't hear his friend laughing in the back ground. She obviously knows it's a wind up, which is disappointing. Boooooooo!!
  19. not sure, but you'd think if someone was going to put up 10k of their own money you'd have some half decent drivers who've done a bit of track racing before?
  20. the fella who slapped the BMW driver in the face, that didn't look like a **** take though. He was not happy.
  21. me too!!! I sooooo wanted the GTR to beat that barn made Camaro. Just goes to show that power is not everything and that the dukes of hazard are also the the earls of shite driving.
  22. Round 2 the GTR wins. Commentator says " it's a big victory for the Europeans that's for sure" Someone , please, call the Japanese and enlighten them.
  23. aren't R8s known for catching on fire?
