  1. Lovely looking zed and the best colour too as it was bought from a member on here I assume it already has a few mods done?
  2. The seats look brilliant Ian the write up was fun to read too good to see your hard work paid off nicely
  3. Stop it Humpy - it's already on my mind And pop charger if it's sounds your after Intake is prob the last thing I'd do I think. Seeing as the stock ones seem to be best for the car. Probably just get some HKS panel filters. If and when I do intake I'm probably gonna go for the injen long arm dual intakes too
  4. Stop it Humpy - it's already on my mind
  5. Thanks guys! let's see where my Zeditis takes me next!
  6. Haha we just watched it ah well I'm sure there'll be more videos to come soon in landscape mode
  7. Got my gf to take a quick vid of the cobra
  8. How did you manage to get the switch panel off? There's no screws or bolts holding it in place like with the older models. I need to respray mine too but can't figure out how to get it off and I don't want to end up damaging anything by pulling on random parts
  9. Yessir! Also how long should I wait in between coats? 30-45mins?
  10. At least you've managed to set a benchmark for what you can expect for your money. Like the rest of the guys here said, take your time and don't part with your money until you get that tingly feeling when you sit in the car - or quote from Avatar "You'll know it's the one because it'll try to kill you"
  11. Oh right, I was under the impression everything needs to be primed as a rule of thumb. There was a thread here about someone who used plastidip too and he primed his beforehand. I don't really want a shiny finish, prefer a nice matte finish Not having to prime may just make my job easier then
  12. I'm going to attempt to do my door switch panels this weekend - well start them at least! I'm going down the Plastidip route. Do I need to lacquer it afterwards or is it just primer -> plastidip?
  13. Welcome to the forum mate that sound's like a steal of a zed too with only 11k miles!
  14. Epic movie! Watched it while on holiday in Toronto in 3D - paid equivalent of £6 considering it was in the city centre! Great spot of the zed too
  15. To be honest I've not really seen it on a black Zed - but I think i know what you mean. The black diffuser would just get blend in and you wouldn't notice it as much as against another colour. I'm looking forward to driving through a couple of tunnels on the a406 this evening to hear that Cobra roar!
  16. Seat looks awesome! Great design mate if you don't mind me asking, what was the cost?
  17. Happy birthday Zeus! May you have a great time on Mount Olympus
  18. The Y-pipe and HFCs are probably next on my list of things to do but I'm also tempted with a chargespeed rear bumper - it's just so damn sexy!
  19. Not done the Y-pipe yet, I'll be upgrading in stages as this hit the wallet pretty hard already have you done the Y-pipe? If so, how is it? Do it! You won't regret it mate
  20. Thanks Mitz, was good to meet you too the drive back was great for getting used to the cobra. Already turning heads down the high street today Thanks mate, the resonated is just right! Hit the throttle to hear it roar and ease off for a cruise with a gentle hum for those longer journeys It's a small world in zed land Chriag - I believe your cousin is mates with an old neighbour of mine from when I was living in Isleworth, SW London. He's a chap called Ketan, but his surname escapes me atm! Hope you like the new exhaust It's good to hear he's been well connected within the community too
  21. Went up to meet Mitz at CS and get my Cobra Sports exhaust fitted. Service from CS is second to none and the sound is brilliant! I've got a few pics and will try to get a video up shortly The stock exhaust New Cobra Sports Exhaust I'll try to get a video up soon of the sounds
  22. I got the Cobra resonated done yesterday - just waiting to get up a pic and vid so I can post it up. Sounds much better than the OEM
  23. I'm sure he was involved in the design of the roadster, but it was probably played off of the initial design of the coupe He's heading back to California soon and looking to pick up a HR Zed once he's out there
  24. So I took a little trip today up to Leicester to have the Cobra exhaust fitted by Mitz at CS. Coincidentally my cousin (Ajay Panchal, designer of the 350z) was around too so we took a quick snap and then went for a coffee while Mitz worked on my Z
  25. Big thanks to Mitz at CS. Went out of his way to have a Cobra exhaust delivered early for me as today was the only day I had off to get it fitted. Kept me updated regularly with tracking of the exhaust, and fitted it for me on the day. Well worth the journey up to Leicester to meet him in person. Great guy with great service! I'm sure I'll be seeing you again soon to feed my Zeditis
