  1. Ahhh we did this earlier this year - I miss Scotland
  2. I have my trusty VW Polo 1.4TDI 2004 5dr hatchback - fill up £50 every 6 weeks and gets thrashed around
  3. Congratulations mate! You guys look made for each other, and what a stunning location! All the best for the years ahead
  4. I was on my was back from Lakeside, in my zed, saw you go past me coming up to the roundabout off the A13 and then onto A406 towards Ilford. Don't think it was a member as didn't have a stubby but had private plate ending in OSH
  5. I'm interested but contemplating orange on a black car with shadow chrome wheels? Think it would go nicely with the orange reflectors and the orange seats I have...
  6. Handy to know, I didn't know the lines meant different types of jack leads!
  7. Man gutted to see this mate! Hope it all works out ok for you - main thing is you weren't in the car when it happened and you weren't injured...although the pain of seeing the car wrecked like that is enough to stop a petrolhead's heart
  8. When I was planning on proposing I spoke to both mother and father separately. It was more of a conversation rather than asking, as I think it shows more confidence and assurance that you feel you're doing the right thing and puts them at ease too. They both appreciated me speaking to them about it though. Her mum's first words were "Are you sure?" and her dad was the teary one!
  9. Same day edit video summarising the day if anyone wants to have a watch
  10. Sounds like a Groupon Lol nope - Thomas Cook package! How's your wedding prep going? Wedding prep nearly all done. Had to take a break to concentrate on getting a new job. Only got a few things left to organise. Nothing major. Been quite easy TBH. Nice one man. Not sure what you're doing about alcohol, but I've got a lot left over if you're looking to provide your own? Drop me a PM and I can let you know what I've got if you want?
  11. I've been to Iceland and it's a stunning country, if can get a tour with a group called superjeep then it's a must. Fully off road kitted out defenders, they're who I did my northern lights tour with up what looked like an undrivable hill so it's even more out of the way. Highly recommended. Congrats on the wedding!! Looks like Watford high street??? It is indeed Watford High Street - good eye mate! Wedding took place at The Langley Banqueting Suite
  12. Sounds like a Groupon Lol nope - Thomas Cook package! How's your wedding prep going?
  13. Guys, thank you all for the kind comments we're off on our mini-moon end of the month to Iceland to see the Northern Lights, Blue Lagoon & Golden Circle. Will look to plan a trip to the Caribbean sometime next year! Need to do a celebratory lap in the zed!
  14. So after the civil ceremony in June, our Indian wedding happened this weekend just gone. It was an amazing experience, having been to so many weddings as a guest, and this time to be in the hot seat myself. Here's few snaps from the day Arriving at the venue With my sister by my side Me and my wife Customary evening reception lift selfie
  15. So I forgot my gym closes early in bank holidays, so...I ended up at the park in the evening doing umpteen sets of various grip pull ups/chin ups, dips/press ups until I had a good pump. Then finished off with some abs from a bench, then made it interesting by doing some core work on the seesaw surprising how good a bodyweight workout feels especially out in the open!
  16. I've always had my eye on these
  17. Thanks Gareth. I've had my ups and downs and used to have anger issues (I think we all do to some degree) and it used to cause a lot of problem between me and my family as well. The ex just added to mix and probably made it worse because of all the pointless arguments we used to have. You're doing absolutely the right thing. Keep yourself occupied, making a bit of extra cash on the side, and focusing on yourself now rather than chasing something that was dragging you down. It's good that you can come here to vent and channel your thoughts rather than keeping it bottled up. Hope you keep on moving in the right direction mate
  18. I'm sorry to hear the troubles you guys are going through on here, it's not a nice place to be, but it's good to see the forum being a place where we can all open up and talk about this kind of stuff. I was engaged to my ex at the age of 22, and due to unnecessary pressure from her parents, and no support from her whatsoever, I decided at 23, enough is enough and told her to stay at home if all she wanted was a puppet for her and her family to control. Fast forward 5 years and I'm now 4 weeks away from the biggest day of my life, to be married (Indian ceremony) to a woman who cares about me and supports me in everything I do, and vice-versa. It's never easy going through a break-up, and me and my current Mrs have had our fair share of arguments, where she's told me certain things/habits about me that annoy her, but we found that by talking about it and addressing it made us aware of what pushes the other's buttons and taught us how to be a better couple. I hope you guys manage to get to through to the light at the end of the tunnel - fastest way is in the zed
  19. Ahhh now I see what happened here lol. Very nice upgrade mate, gone from a stunning 350 to a stunning 370
