  6. I've just been following this thread and can't wait to see you guys have the finished article!
  7. Really sorry to hear this mate. From the looks of it insurance may write it off unfortunately. It's a real shame to see this happen to a zed

  11. to the forum Ollie. For 700 you'll get yourself a very good exhaust system. Have a look at some of the videos on YouTube to get an idea of the sound you'll achieve. Myself and quite a few others on here have the cobra resonated, but there's also the invidia true dual system which is popular too
  12. Thanks Almeida - in fairness the diffuser does look good, however I think I'm, going to hold out for the chargespeed rear for now thanks for putting up the other pics mate
  13. Do you have any pics of this attached to a car? I'm torn between going for this short-term or just waiting and getting a chargespeed rear
  14. Not the normal rays.... flashy 19" wide ones, 275/35/R19 i believe.... apparently it is £128 per tyre for the "budget" version, and £200+ for the current ones on it .... so looking at getting mid range versions! Didnt think about tyre expense when buying the car! In response to GIXXERUK.... I shall do nothing with my cassettes.... but thinking of it I do have a good quality Griffin (i think) Auxilliary to Cassette tape adapter! Cost me £15 from Halfords! If anyone wants it for free... just let me know and I'll post it out! Have loads of first class stamps lying about so can have it for completely free! I'll have it! PM'd
  15. Nice example of a zed. I paid a little more than yours in December, but again mine is '08 registered and had 38k miles on it. Fair price IMO GLWTS
  16. Chris - just want to confirm this will fit the facelift model? Mine's a 2008
  17. Will do Ian I didn't sand after priming for the brake fluid cover - came out ok. But I'll try it with the battery cover to get that smoother finish. Do I need to lightly sand after my final coat of paint too? And lacquer?
  18. yeah that leather look just wasn't doing it anymore
  19. Finished the brake fluid cover this afternoon. Gonna lacquer it before bed and let it set overnight. I've primed the battery fluid cover around 5pm. Would I be ok to start painting it later tonight after a few hours or should I leave it overnight?
