Remember you have to be happy with yourself before you can be happy with someone else and no that doesn't mean your right hand! I dont think Steve's ugly but in general most people cant do anything about their looks! Agree with everything else though. Not meaning to say that Steve is bad looking by any means but he's posted a few times about not being happy about his weight and diet. Those things are in his control and I know him and Grundy had their challenge, but not been following it to see what the outcome is. That pic he posted of me - I wasn't born like that. In fact I was skin and bones most of my life and it didn't help my confidence or self esteem. But it took a lot of dedication and focus to get there. And I didn't do it to impress the girls either. It was for my own sense of self achievement. The basis of my comment is the foundation of finding someone - be happy with yourself and who you are. Only then will the other person too

I think the thing is I wasn't looking for a relationship and was just happy to be in her company as a person and friend and I just sort of went with the flow. She got to know me for me rather than what was under my clothes. I met my girlfriend over LinkedIn while I was at work - turned out we went to the same university, and I was only a year above her, we had plenty of friends in common but the 3-4 years we were at uni we never crossed paths! Started small talk over LinkedIn messages about uni, etc. Found out each others interests and then exchanged numbers and arranged to meet up one evening. First meeting we stayed up until 4am just talking, talking, talking and getting to know each other. Stayed friends for the next 4-5months and we both knew we liked each other but nothing happened during that time. I'd recently had my engagement broken off about 6 months previously so I wasn't really looking to jump back on the horse too soon. But after getting to know each other, I just plucked up the courage and asked if she wanted to be more than friends and here we are 27 months later going strong

Ouch another 9mph and it would have been a ban! Yup! Count myself lucky to still be able to drive - losing my license would mean losing my job. Still gotta cough up the £305 fine in addition to it though...they're allowing me to split it in two parts which is good I guess

What speeds? Not condoning speeding of any sort on here - but was caught doing 91mph in a 60mph zone... Am I right in thinking that as you were going over 50% over the limit worst case they could have taken your license? I think they took into account the 10% + 2mph before calculating the difference in speed. But either way I did broke the law and have to accept the consequences. I'm still better off than losing my license.

Hmm this could be interesting. Few things to consider though - would you provide the leads to call through? Also would need to know a bit more about the services you offer so can create an effective pitch. I've been in sales since uni, and cold calling can get pretty mind numbing so need to have a real hook to get your foot through the door. Obviously you being the accountant would be able to discuss the technical jargon, but we'd need enough information to grab the attention of the lead. I'd be quite interested in this but would have to look at my time commitments - but would be interested in knowing more to see how much I could possibly help you with. Consider yourself lucky if you got the speed awareness course. I just had my reply from my hearing for when I got caught by a speed gun on my way back from the Wales trip this year - not a good outcome. I've been given 6 points lesson well and truly learnt...

Been here 4 days and seen 6 zeds already! Here's number 5 from yesterday

So I landed in Boston yesterday and already spotted 2 zeds. A black 350 filling up at a shell petrol station. It had the exhaust tips painted red and the front lip and side skirts in red too. But no stubby! Second was either gunmetal or silver (it was dark and I was tipsy lol) as I was leaving Faneuil Hall. Boom!

I usually like some Eminem or go on Youtube and type in Bodybuilding Motivation and try to rip the soundtrack off of it. There's quite a few on there which I find help give you that push!

Picked mine up today - both the trolley jack and axle stands came to £34ish - bargain! Quick question on using the axle stands, do I need to get a block of wood and cut a groove in them for the car to sit on? Also some people have mentioned using a hockey puck with the jack? Can I not just jack it up directly at the garage jack points at the front or rear?
