  1. well thats, that then, forever known as PLOB now haha well thats, that then, forever known as PLOB now haha Don't worry, ..half of the guys on here call me Graham and it's not even my name. Better than Plob though I guess. I was just about to say we have another! Mine is known as Mr Blobby as it reads BL08 BYH In fact my girlfriend made me a nice birthday cake of the zed and a Mr Blobby sat next to it!
  2. Tarmac's spacers fitted Befores and afters - 20mm on front and 25mm on rear Great fit and excellent build quality as to be expected from Mr Tarmac
  3. Thanks mate So after a few hours with Ross at Japex, the Zed was fully serviced and running like a dream One thing I never hear is my car being started with my as a bystander - and as much I like how it sounds when I'm inside the car, it sounds soooo much better from the outside. I'm now extremely jealous of the public when i drive past them Service from Ross at Japex is second to none He changed my front brake pads which were worn down to the metal pretty much and also fitted the spacers I'd bought from Tarmac a while back Gold spacers on And here are some before and after pics Looks much better now, nice and flush with the arches. Haven't noticed any difference in the handling from the spacers which some people have mentioned - drives just as nice, in fact smoother due to the service Smiles all around!!
  4. Car sounds great mate but I don't think I could live with the constant droning nice to see another black zed on the road Got the Stillen Y-Pipe on mine and it's without flexis like yours
  5. Guys, my boss wants to book a driving experience for his dad for his birthday. But something they can do together. He's 70 odd so no rally or drifting Location anywhere within a couple of hours drive from London and price up to around £250 for the both of them. Any recommendations from anyone on here who's been to one?
  6. I've got a cobra resonated with HFCs and it sounds awesome - not too loud or drony but enough to make heads turn
  7. I find they make a noticeable difference to the interior finish - not to mention they add 25bhp Will be getting my spacers put on during the service too. Have had them since beginning of September from Tarmac's group buy but just not had time to fit them. Ross has kindly said he'll do them along with the service
  8. True say guys but the car's at my parents house at the moment. Been busy moving into my new place but will drop them when I go home for the weekend
  9. Just got this in the post at work today going in next Tuesday when I take the zed in to Japex for her service
  10. Try Japex as they're based in Watford if its not too far from you
  11. Chuck some fuel additive into it while the 95 ron is in - then just top up with V Power
  12. Berk HFCs to finish off your exhaust setup nicely 😉 I get some droning once they've warmed up but so much that it annoys me. Motorway journeys are fine when cruising, no drone
  13. Whereabouts in London are you mate? I don't get to see many zeds around my end
  14. Ended up finding Brembo's on eBay for £32 - job done, thanks for all input guys
  15. Hey Mitz, how much are the Brembo pads?
  16. So I'll be booking in my zed for a service within the next couple of weeks, and on the MOT previously the front brake pads came up as an advisory that they were running thin so I'll be looking to get these done around the same time. I know there's quite a few options around but bearing in mind I only use my zed as a weekend driver and don't really track it or subject it to any extreme driving conditions. I'm looking at these and wanted to ask what people's thoughts are and if there are any alternatives. Please bear in mind I'm on a bit of a budget http://www.mister-auto.co.uk/en/brake-pads/nissan-350-z-z33-3-5-313hp_v25093_g900005.html http://www.carparts4less.co.uk/cp4l/c/Nissan_350Z_3.5_2008/p/car-parts/car-brakes/brake-friction/brake-pads/?101700368&1&59b5fa0613a42370bebb2cb339fc091f06d1d4d6&000036#
  17. I think I saw this one too. It was a 54 plate if I'm correct? It didn't have astubby though so may not be someone on here
  18. best one is when the guy slaps his mate on the treadmill
  19. Sounds like a no brainer Parello - at the end of the day you're gonna be inside the car and you want it to be as comfy and practical as possible. For the difference in price I'd go for a 2010 by the sounds of the upgrades
  20. I need to get me a taser lol
