Can anyone help with corrupted .mp4 files?
chirag1988 replied to chirag1988's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Steve - I tried that too but no joy Stu - I just downloaded Recuva but it doesn't work on Mac -
Hi guys, I took some videos and photos on my 4GEE Action camera whilst on holiday but I think the SD card was rubbish and it corrupted the files. The files have saved and the first two files seem to work, but the others don't open. I'm using VLC but it doesn't open them. Is there anyone who's experienced in this field that I can email a sample file to if they can try to repair it at all? Any help would be much appreciated as I've got videos from quad biking and parasailing which I'm gutted I can't watch back! Thanks, Chirag

OUCH!! I've never gone over £100 on filling mine up! Prices must have been high!

Chirag1988's Build Thread - service update

Sorry Martin, I can't make it this Sunday as I've got the job of replacing all 4 brake discs and pads on Mrs' TT. Also this wasn't done by Taras or RTP lol - the Chargespeed I've got is a genuine one rather than the replica, and I had it done by Igor at Carrozzeria in Maidenhead Maidenhead in Berkshire? You should've stopped by to show her off! Ahh didn't know you were based there mate otherwise I defo would have! Yep, I'm in Windsor literally 2 miles away. Could've had a gym session whilst waiting for your car! They've done a good job, so I'll have to keep that place in mind for future reference (: That would have been a plan mate! Next time I'm round those ends but yeah highly recommend Igor's work there -

Cheers Matt! Bring on Wales 2016 (which you better not flop this time! ) P.S. Martin - Not saying RTP's work isn't good as I do rate them for the work they did when fitting my V2 spoiler, but just saying that this wasn't their work this time round -

I would have thought so mate as the Y pipe will change the airflow
-
To be honest mate the standard airbox is best on the HR as you tend to get a lot of heat soak with aftermarket intakes. I've got a HR like yours and I've also looked at the Injen and Stillen CAI (long arm) but you're looking at spending approx £500 for some shiny bits that prob won't make a difference to the performance. One thing to consider is changing the exhaust setup. I've got Berk HFCs, Stillen Y pipe and Cobra resonated catback. Sounds awesome! Slight droney around 2k but cruising at 70-80 on motorway is nice and quiet. Any breathing mods you do will require a remap (called Uprev) which will cost another £400ish but I've heard for the HR you're unlikely to see much gains or feel much difference as the engine is already updated from the DE to maximise its potential. Hence why I've spent my money on aesthetic mods and not bothered with remap yet even though I've done all the breathing mods to warrant it. Hope this helps

That's not bad actually, I'm not looking forward to my renewal next month...was £1200 last year for two cars but bumped up with my 6 points

Thanks mate. It does sit slightly lower than standard as it incorporates the diffuser section into it. It hugs round the tailpipes nicely -

And some photos of the complete finished article - words cannot describe how happy I am with the finish! We decided that the diffuser section should be Gunmetal so it contrasts against the all black. He also managed to sort out a curb mark on my front passenger side wheel so happy days all around! -

Some b@stard keyed my bonnet so had that resprayed too along with the Mines front lip bonded to the bumper and smoothed in. Also had my side steps colour coded too
