For the money they can be had for now, it's crazy! I think I paid £19k for my first one, an early car (04 or 54 I think) that was 9months old. Then the oily colour one above I bought for about £7k in 2010, it was 4years old. To think you can get a decent one for less than half that now is madness. Are you sure it's not just because it's so cold? Ours wasn't closing, and was told by three different hood specialists that's why. I ended up having a replacement mohair hood fitted (due to hole, not because of closing issue) and it works perfectly every time now. Only found Clark Motorsport recently via this website, but got some bits for the other half's 350z and now some parts for the MR2 track car.
