  1. Well, I haven't done an update in a while so here's some more progress! This weekend I decided to finally get around to cleaning my exhaust up. Ever since I bought the car I noticed the exhaust had heat marks/rust/grit which ruined the look of the rear end to me. It only took 2 hours of elbow grease but here are the results: Before: After: Both tips have come up REALLY nice haha, so glad they're shiny again and look proper. I polished up the resonator too but didn't get any pics, but tbh it was shiny already so now it just looks even better. In case any of you wanted to do the same, I used the following products: - Autosol 75ml Metal Polish (Paste) - Autosol Metal Polish (Liquid) - Wire Wool Pads (Buy a few, you'll use at least 4) - 2x Microfibre Cloth Joe
  2. What do your coilies ride like mate? I was thinking of getting some for mine in the long run but unsure about compromising on comfort.
  3. Yeah I was thinking surely you can just swap the grille over? Or have one made up that's similar to the facelift. Cheers
  4. Haha yeah, decisions decisions, you make a good point though. Maybe I'll stick with the V1 rep, ah I dunno! Haha
  5. The mid section grille is different though, right? It has two thicker lines rather than the 3-4 lines that the 03-05 model has like mine, plus it has the small dip in the section underneath the grille? I just think it looks smarter. That lip is sweet, will probably get one after I have the bumper done.
  6. Yo all, For a while my plan has been to buy the Nismo V1 rep front bumper from RT Performance, but after seeing a few photos I'm swaying towards the 06+ front bumper as a more subtle choice. Does anyone know where they can be bought from (if anywhere?) other than someone breaking their Z of course. I've searched ebay and google shopping, etc but can't seem to find one anywhere. Mine's a '54 plate, would there be any problems with fitment at all? Thanks, Joe
  7. Hey guys, I'm thinking about buying an aftermarket double-din stereo for my Z. Has anyone else had this done and fitted professionally? Would having the non OEM stereo installed **** around with the steering wheel controls at all or would it be compatible with them? I'll most likely have it professionally installed, there's a good company in Reading that can do it for me but just wondered if it messes anything up like the Bluetooth, etc. Thanks, Joe
  8. Thought I might've been the azure you saw, relatively non-modded over here lol. Then realised I was in Reading on Sunday, doh!
  9. Spotted this morning at about 10 to 6am-ish. V1 spoiler on the back, had a black stripe running down the middle? Looked sweet! Anyone on here?
  10. Spotted a fellow azure blue Z at about 1:20pm heading towards Bracknell just past the BP garage on the A322 road dual carriageway. I was heading in the opposite direction towards Bagshot. Had a Nismo V2 front bumper (I think) and a Nismo V1 spoiler. Didn't manage to catch the plates though Anyone on here?
  11. Haha, was starting to think you weren't on here! I was driving in the right hand lane on the A322 just before the Coral Reef roundabout, think you turned off to go down the 9 mile ride. Was heading back through Bracknell/Binfield to get home to Twyford where I live haha.
  12. Hahaha I noticed this straight away when I saw it. Great film!
  13. Thanks to the @*!# weather we've had recently I haven't had the car cleaned in what feels like months (probably was), feels good to have a LONG overdue clean done!
  14. Never mind, an hour or so searching and found two sets. WEDGE http://wedgebrackets...t-brackets.html and Recaro's own http://www.andysauto...ca00900248.html Hope this helps others Dude, great find!
  15. Saw a silver 350z last night at around 5:00-5:10pm driving down the A322 towards Bracknell. Full Nismo V1 kit, dark/black alloys, numberplate ended in ZZZ. Anyone on here?
  16. Well I've officially made two changes to the 350 now, and they're the most critical changes ever... - Not too sure what the next mods that I'm gonna make will be, most likely lowering springs or coilovers, I'm mainly focusing on the exterior/interior bits and bobs for now as the performance won't be touched for a while, but hey I've made a start! Joe
  17. Wicked, thanks mate. I'll give it a try
  18. Damn right haha, need to find some in the office if I can!
  19. So I twist the rubber bit to the left thinking that it'll unscrew the whole thing, instead the rubber part comes off and this is now what I'm left with and what I need to remove, before I can simply screw the stubby in, I assume?
  20. Fail haha, I've tried counter clockwise also but still nothing.
  21. I did unscrew it (clockwise), but the rubber came off and nothing else happened lol, I'm guessing the metal part is stuck one way or another? Most likely, will see if that helps. Went for the RDX stubby which is mint. Gonna grab a picture shortly, bare with me haha...

    Stubby Guide?

I know this is stupid but my OEM ariel seems awfully difficult to remove... I've taken off the rubber surround by simply twisting it until it comes off but then there is gold-ish metal piece which won't unscrew by hand (I've tried and tried and tried). I've searched for videos and guides all over but can't find one, I imagine nobody else has had this issue? lol... Can anybody help? Thanks, Joe
  23. Hopefully will put them in mine, just making my mind up whether it's worth replacing the heated leathers lol... decisions decisions. Here's an example of what they look like against a blue car, my Civic at an earlier stage of it's life:
  24. Where'd you get your rails from? I assume you made some custom changes to universal ones? But if not, lemme know. Really wanna get these fitted!
