Thanks dude. It's such a lovely colour haha. Delayed buying the springs just to make sure I can cope for the month if I do (I'm a homeowner now ya see, gotta think of these things ). Pretty sure the Z needs a P2 service as well so that'll need taking care of!

Damn, so it's been a LONG time since I posted in this thread, but I still own the Z (just haven't done anything to her since I last posted haha). But anyway, I took the time out to give the car a PROPER clean this weekend before getting some decent flicks with my mate, here's the results: Azure Blue is so pretty. I washed, clayed, paint cleaner'd, polished, waxed and restored the headlights on her in a grand total of 7 hours. I was even delayed by a tiny spot of rain! but, I've not seen her this clean since I picked her up from Trade Link back in 2013, hell it might even be MORE clean than then, aha. Potentially buying some springs & wheel nuts tomorrow morning, about time I started making some more changes. - Joe

Ah ok, yeah my bad I was on about upgrading to the facelift lights completely, but that link is helpful too so thank you.

Damn, if you could dig the link out that'd be dope. Been after a set of these for ages.

Still quite pricey imo, but for those of you with deep pockets. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231153214962?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I imagine there'd be an import tax on them too?

Sorry, I know it's non-related OP, but would you mind PM'ing me your wheel/tyre specs? Love the look! -
Might be a while! But I'll try not to keep you all waiting for too long, lol.
-
Awesome, thanks for the help fellas. I'll check that website now too!

Thanks mate, I think it may have been over a year since the last one but I'd have to check. I'm assuming this would be a P1 service this time around? P1, P2, P1, P3 is the schedule irc Cool, cheers man.

Hey everyone, I'm looking at potentially buying a set of new wheels, whether it be a set of Grids or RPF1's, etc. I was just wondering if anyone knew the correct offsets for the following configuration: Fronts - 18x9.5 Rears - 18x10 As well as what tyre size will fit these sizes correctly? (by correctly, I mean no stretch). I currently have the default 18" Rays alloys with 225/45/R18 on the fronts and 245/45/R18 on the rears. I assume the 45/R18 will remain the same as I'm not buying larger alloys, but I do intend to buy some 30mm lowering springs so will 45/R18's rub on the arches? I'm guessing I won't need spacers as I'm buying wider alloys? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Joe

Hey guys, I've been away from the forum for a while, but I have a quick question. I was wondering when I should next service the Z? I had my last service at 91,000 miles (after checking the service schedule), I'm now at 99,500 miles, should I be looking to have another service soon? I believe my last service was a P2. Thanks, Joe

Saw the same car this morning on the A322 heading towards Bracknell again, was at exactly the same time too (illuminati confirmed).

Saw a silver/grey fiddy this morning on the way to work at about 8:13am. Had a Nismo V1 front bumper and was heading towards Bracknell just past the Coral Reef roundabout, gave you a thumbs up as I was heading in the opposite direction.

Pretty sure I saw you a few weeks back on the A4 by the BP garage on Shep's Hill, you were driving towards Twyford/Wargrave. Both exchanged waves lol!

Haha...these cars are soooo common LOL Might come down to wheel size.....18 vs 19s Hey, do you sometimes park in Tesco (Portman Rd)?.....think I might have seen you a couple of times. Haha, I'm running 18's on mine, just the stock Rays unfortunately. I haven't been there for ages come to think of it, not sure I've ever been there in my Z haha so may be someone else mate.

Could've been me too, I was around that area on Sunday and I have gunmetal/grey rims. You sure it wasn't a 54 plate?

Vibration noise when turning/braking/parking on a slope/curb?
Snowseph replied to Snowseph's topic in 350Z General
Not sure I understand how the rear wheel bearing would've been causing frontal vibration/rubbing feeling but yeah... Very confused, happy it's sorted now though. -
Vibration noise when turning/braking/parking on a slope/curb?
Snowseph replied to Snowseph's topic in 350Z General
Well, no idea what the issue actually was but it seems to be resolved after my wheel bearing went in to be fixed. I had the wheel alignment done too after, so maybe the alignment was out causing issues? But the car was driving straight before I had the work done, who knows? Lol. -

Car's all booked in for Tuesday so I'll let you know what it is if the garage can find out! -
Vibration noise when turning/braking/parking on a slope/curb?
Snowseph replied to Snowseph's topic in 350Z General
Sorry for the delay. In response to your question, it doesn't matter if I'm going fast or slow, if I turn & brake, the vibration/noise occurs and I can FEEL it coming from the lower front area. I do have a wheel bearing on the way out but that's the rear left and I'll be getting that sorted this weekend so I'll ask the garage to get it up on the ramp and check everything over. It doesn't happen when I'm braking in a straight line, only when turning or braking when mounting a curb or on a hill for example, I had my brakes checked out last week as they were squeaking but I was told they're all fine, so, still unsure as to what it could be? Thanks, Joe -
Vibration noise when turning/braking/parking on a slope/curb?
Snowseph replied to Snowseph's topic in 350Z General
Sorry, I should've said the problem was apparent before I had the bushes changed. -
Hi guys, My 350's developed this problem recently and I'm hoping someone may know what the issue could be, perhaps this'll sound familiar to one of you? When I am turning/braking at the same time, I feel vibrations coming from the front lower suspension area somewhere? It occurs when I park on a down slope too, e.g. when I brake to park, the noise/vibration occurs, this also happens when I park on a curb, when I brake to come to a stop, the side which has mounted the curb vibrates as soon as I brake, but not the side which is on the road? Last week I had my front compression arm bushes replaced to Super Pro bushes, as I know this is a common fail, and I suspected these were at the source of the problem. However, the noise/vibration still occurs? I have no idea what it could be, the garage I took my car to (TGM Sport) would've highlighted any issues with my ball joints, etc. When they replaced the bushes, but they said everything looked fine. I don't believe it's the tyres rubbing on the arches as I've checked my tyres over for marks and I can't find any, plus my car has not been lowered at all and I'm running 225/45/18 tyres on the front, which leaves PLENTY of room in the arch. Any suggestions? Thanks, Joe

Damn, popped up at the wrong time, I'll have the money for one of these soon but not soon enough.
