  1. The Pyrenees definitely have some of the best roads I've been on .
  2. so in simple words -remap is the correct method of running your zed with the mods you have!! I feel better! :-) Yes or leave the engine totally standard and save about a grand!
  3. Mines on 108k , bought at about 86k and owned for 4 years without a single problem (touch wood!) mileage has never been an issue just as with all cars, look after it and it should look after you!
  4. ZEUS

    bonnets

Yes HR bonnets fit the earlier zeds. Tarmac has a very nice carbon bulge bonnet for sale .
  5. Dont bash the VAG, I like VAG I love bashing VAG too Filth
  6. Sat nav was an option and it's pretty useless by all accounts.
  7. 2003...53500miles...10lbft...18hp... Numbers were not a deal breaker for me in the first place ,statement that drivability on 1-3 gears is smoother and more responsive. At the moment I don't feel it,may be in few days it will change(****ing hope so) I hoped for the same change, it won't happen
  8. i only realised it when drifting it didnt bog down as much Ok I'll wait until later when it's icey and go for a drive around the block ....... That's not drifting is it?....That's crashing
  9. I had the same issue, had the remap and it feels exactly the same as before, waste of money.
  10. I noticed that the other day !
  11. Great to see your getting stuck in and sorting this after such a crap start to zed ownership, good luck
  12. Firstly I'd avoid using rated people or check a trade to start with, I'm a trader and won't get involved with them ( nor will any other decent traders I know). The police will tell you it's a civil matter so that will be a waste of time. I'd just go straight to gas safe and report to them what's happened. I wouldn't bother with trying court action as its costly, just put it down to a bad experience.
  13. I used just a normal jack lead
  14. Shame, I really like them seats too
  15. Do the iPod hack and run the lead into the arm rest cubby, no leads on show and will cost you the price of a lead and some time!
  16. I don't think you can without making a hole, it's double skinned.
  17. Super glue sounds drastic mate! Mine popped off on the first very cold night we had so I assume it's the temp that's done it although when I fitted them they were well and truly bonded on so I'm surprised .
  18. I paid £800 for mine about a year ago with 4 bridgestones with decent tread.
