Firstly I'd avoid using rated people or check a trade to start with, I'm a trader and won't get involved with them ( nor will any other decent traders I know). The police will tell you it's a civil matter so that will be a waste of time. I'd just go straight to gas safe and report to them what's happened. I wouldn't bother with trying court action as its costly, just put it down to a bad experience.

Super glue sounds drastic mate! Mine popped off on the first very cold night we had so I assume it's the temp that's done it although when I fitted them they were well and truly bonded on so I'm surprised .

I paid £800 for mine about a year ago with 4 bridgestones with decent tread.
