There is a thread on here somewhere with a link to cheaper non Nissan motors but I can't find it for the life of me! I cleaned both my motors a while back and they are still going strong though.

That was scarily low on oil then! Just keep an eye on the level regularly so you can gauge consumption if any.

It is if it's been burning it or leaking, did you happen to check the level on the dipstick before you dropped it out? Not had any lights come on the dash before?
