One other thing is don't use Just Car Clinic if they say that's their approved repairer. They had 5 attempts to fix light bumper damage on my zed and in the end I had to get the regional manager involved who agreed they had ballsed it up. Awful company.

I was hit last year and it was not my fault, tell your insurance you want to change your mind and not claim through them but just make it "notification only". Then let the other sides insurance handle the repair for you. This way your insurance company will not need to get involved and next year your premium will not go up, you will have to declare the accident but then say it was notification only and no claim was made by you. I did this and this year my premium went down 50 quid!

I had particles on my nuts once but that's nothing to do with zeds or anything car related so I'll shut up!

Genuine bulge bonnet from Nissan is around £280 ( that's what mine cost from them) give them a HR reg plate though when ordering as they don't have a clue what a bulge bonnet is!

If you wet and dry the inside of the Perspex it will cloud up and diffuse the LEDs the way you want It may do, but LED's are very directional compared to a regular incandescent bulb, I suspect you would still be able to see the light source. If it was me I'd keep the zed , enjoy the commute and take the hit on the wallet for a few months . If you sell it I think you may regret it when you have moved nearer to work.

I've had this problem and I'm on my second repair of it as KyleR said it does come back. I've had a load of metal cut out and replaced on mine so I'll see how long it lasts.
