I have - with admiral 😄. But!, I did get better quotes on comparison sites (with admiral) than my renewal, so I rang them and had a 'quiet' word with them expressing my disappointment, low and behold they matched the quotes 😉

Quick update, changed the wheels for some Vossen's And got a smart top controller Unable to add a video of it working, but it's sooooo much better than sitting in the car holding the button down!

Thats mad, i was paying nearly a grand to insure my 2007 HR Roadster and that was with a clean license & 20 years NCB. 😳 really? That cannot be right. I paid £280 fully comp protected 2nd car, 45yrs old 15yrs+ NCB with mods declared on 2010 roadster. 6000m/yr limit. That's with admiral multicar.

I've just spent the last 2days enjoying the sunshine, with the roof down, driving round (for the hell of it 😄) the North Yorkshire moors and coastline, and didn't see a single 370z 😞. I did have a guy in an Audi R8 having a good stare at my car tho 😄

I couldn't find any 'written' legal information about these other than the usual - plates must be displayed at all times when on the public highway blah, blah, blah. BUT, police officers/traffic cops DO NOT LIKE THEM and will come down hard on you if they catch you using one!

I've had my ttrs for nearly 2years now with no problems whatsoever, and judging by the TT forums during that period I wouldn't say the TT is a particularly problematic car. What I would definitely agree with are the comments on here re Audi itself - dealers on the whole are shocking! As my car is modified I now use an Indy but my experience of my local stealer leaves a lot to be desired.

Admiral multicar for me, on a modified ttrs and modified 370z. Sometimes their renewals are sh*t, but if you go onto a compare website and get individual quotes and give admiral the quote reference they will actually honour it. Pain to have to do it that way but has saved me loads!
