I always remember (in the dim and distant past) my mate owning one and a Ducati motorbike. He used to take the bike to a specialist tuner about 25miles away across the north yorkshire moors and when he did he needed someone (me 😄) to follow him across and bring him back. I'll never forget those races, sorry drives 😉 across the moors in the integrale, quite possibly the best point to point car I've ever driven!!

They don't stick out that much really, this is how mine used to be https://vimeo.com/151198667 No unfortunately not, it was going to be too much work to make it fit and still look good (I.e. Not stick out too much, and not look obvious) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk i like that you still running it in the new bumper? i wouldnt mind one for the nismo mouth

Hi and welcome Marco. What a beautiful area to live, with some wonderful roads to give the Zed a good run out.

As Keith Lemon would say "what's the moral of this story?" Only kidding, another well written article ðŸ‘, which I agree with everything said. It seems like everytime I go to the local cinema there are loads of modified cars in the vast car park area, and there is always a handful of . . . . . . . . . . .(insert your own phrase) carrying on like this. Well done again Dan

Thanks for the deal on the Carbon Slam Panel Scot, really happy with how it looks I am a bit obsessed with carbon! We'll get carboning then! You haven't updated us with anything since yesterday 😄 -
That's exactly why I'm avoiding GTR's! My mate has probably spent as much modifying his as it cost him to buy it 😳. Mind U, it is running almost 1200bhp now! 😈

Two statements I heartily agree with. GTR's are lovely, but they are almost TOO lovely, it seems that almost everyone has one and for very good reason (because they are ace). In the end I decided against a GTR as last year, one of my friends ended up buying the Top Secret R35 GTR Demo Car from Smokey Nagata during a trip to Chiba. The thought of owning a bog-standard GTR next to that monster put paid to that. I've yet to see this gold beauty in the flesh I saw it when it came into the UK, and whilst it was an impressive piece of kit I couldn't help but think it looked a little 'halfords' . Now before everyone starts shouting at me, I fully appreciate what the car is and I do really like /admire GTR's, but, and it is a big but, for that sort of money I'd rather buy something more exotic/special. Flame suite on!!

Because we have impeccable taste Ha ha, how many times have we heard that on here Really didn't plan to mod anything at all! I blame this great forum!!! And that my friend is the 2nd most common phrase on this forum! -
That was my first thought when I got mine, it needed to stand out more. Even more so now with the likes of the copycat sorry 'black' editions 😄 I now enjoy the fact that it doesn't stand out too much, people think it's 'just another TT'. Which gives that element of surprise when playing with the big fish 😉 Mines got almost 500bhp - I'm never late for an appointment 😜 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

As the guys have said, contact Si @ hide'n'seat for a quote. He's not expensive and the work is exemplary, he's done mine and many others on here. There isn't a lot of difference in cost between keeping it plain or changing it as the leather needs to be removed and replaced either way

I agree, new house garages are sh1te. They're not designed to put cars in really, and most people store junk and kids toys in 😱. Fortunately last time I moved (luckily in a financial position to be able to do so - old fud! 😄) I insisted on a good sized double as a minimum requirement, which meant allowing her carte blanch for everything to do with the house itself.

New house design came through. Looks perfect to me....

That's class! The only minor drawback I can see is there should be doors from room to room - so she doesn't need to go through the garage area 😄 -
My Azure 350z (23/05/16 PG.6 Tyre Decals Fitted)
Davectr replied to Kieran_ctr's topic in Member Build Projects
Thanks bud only thing left for the interior doing is centre console all getting carbon dipped & then only thing left to do is remap from TDI north & that's the car finally finished Finished? 😄 That'll never happen whilst you frequent this website young man! -
Some good advice there Joey. It depends on what you plan to do on the bike, a lot of commuting type riding I'd say a fazer or hornet, but if you want to do track days a CBR600 is a great starter bike - easy to ride day to day, and more than quick enough for a novice. That's how I started, many years ago, and was so glad I did. I'd also agree with the earlier comments about not spending that much money on your first bike, it's highly likely you'll have your first spill on it (hopefully you won't tho), and enjoy it without worrying about it too much. Buy something cheaper, get a year or so experience then buy yourself something nice.

Lovely car, it's really coming together Kieran. Any plans for the interior once the exterior is finished? -
Dropped off a spare rear bumper at the bodyshop for him to have a 'play' with. Nothing too dramatic, but hopefully slightly different
-
Was down for a wedding, your car was looking good mate
-
It can be done though not sure how easy it is. There's a guy called Buzz with a bright green GTR who had all his dials done in green! I saw it on JM Imports facefcuk, but he'll be on the GTR forums

Spotted you going past the Regent Hotel yesterday about 14:30, I was pulling into the hotel car park. Gave you a wave but was in her black mini roadster, and I think you were too busy talking to your passenger 😄
-
You could do exactly like you've said, 3M tape with a couple of small screws in each wheel arch then a few screws along the underside for good measure
-
Nice knob 😉
